I just downloaded and installed nfs world just now and I can't find the .exe file for this. Is there any way I can resolve this? Cuz without it, I can't gain access to the game whatsoever. Thanks 2 who will respond 2 this.

guess what i bloody did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you want snow particles heres the hash and part slot hash i founds it yay!!!
add it to the bottom of the <VisualPartTrans> for the car you want it on in the carslots file and reload your carslots in the server editor and bam!!! will post 2 pic's to prove it shortly

<VisualPartTrans>
<PartHash>1358794133</PartHash>
<SlotHash>-1909727572</SlotHash>
</VisualPartTrans>

the cars i used... numbers to "find" in note pad to scroll down and find the <VisualPartTrans> part for that car to find the number of your car go through the basket list files and read carname bit then get the <BaseCar> number as follows...

991 porshe = <BaseCar>926261<BaseCar>
240 sx = <BaseCar>22084480<BaseCar>

so yea go find the cars you have them on by searching for it in notepad using "find" in edit menu <SlotHash>-1909727572</SlotHash> in your carslot file come back here and give us the <PartHash>1358794133</PartHash> please i will stat a new thread for them yea

no1 the porshe i got the part from: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

EDIT: And I made a damn FAQ that no one seems to read.
Me also I posted yesterday evening a problem that no one seems to read...

I installed the version 1.6 beta: the first 4 steps it's all OK, but when in the step 5 I have to do "Run ServerEditor.exe", the server does not run... I uninstalled and reinstalled all, but nothing: at step 5 the server does not run... I think that maybe my PC does not know with which program start ".exe"... any idea? (Windows XP)

p.s. - I posted this question also in the thread that you have indicated, and I will read your FAQ if you put the link also here. But please, if someone know how I could resolve my problem, I will thank you so much ;)

First install all like shown in the readme. Make sure you are using the actual version of Java.

After that the start "ServerEditor.exe". Your windows should know how to handle this .exe-cutable file, otherwise no other programs would start.

Then use the "Start Server"-button and wait for several seconds until the server starts. After about 20 secs you can start the game.

If this doesn't work, use another version of server.

Edit: Don't forget to edit the folder using the context-menu and give it the rights of an administrator.

when i tried to load it strait away i got a system dump and also a few times after just by closing, you should be-able to load it by changing the driver profile and car slot from to default to a new one as my profile worked when i did that... dunno if that will work but yea...

I just created a separate thread about this, and it appears that there aren't any plans to support Windows XP. However, if everything remains 32 bit, and if the offline severs were to get migrated away from Java to Python and/or C / C++, then Window XP shouldn't be an issue.
