i have to disagree with you on this. So far everything in this comment section is comparing to other crappy servers that die after a few weeks/months. If you are truly an oldschool SRO player, then you will appreciate the server stats here. The fact that you have to decide between a weapon with 80% phy dmg and 10% crit, or 0%phy dmg and 40% crit, will just mean that no matter how close your build is to someone elses, no 2 people will have the exact same gear. Other servers are all +10 Suns 100% FB. Not really sure where the fun is in that, but thats just me.

Im really hoping we can get a couple hundred people on this server long term. Im going to be ending my SRO days here after a good 10 years of SRO, so long as this server is alive until im finally done... :D

Alright so, now that I am done with that exam, I have a lot of time to work on fixing the bugs in here. In the next couple of days you will most likely experience a lot of dcs, server inspections, restarts, etc... so please don't whine about it, we're simply trying to fix everything reported.

Most of the bugs are visual though, so it's not like there will be down times 24/7, but there will be enough to make it frustrating. So I ask you to please be patient.


After every patch, I will write down a changelog of everything that was done, and I will probably ask you guys to test things out another time (such as pvp, quests, etc... )

not sure if any of this was written but these are just my notes while playing:

BUGS/QUESTIONS/SUGGESTIONS

-No points on map for reverse (not implemented in 60 cap?)
-dailys cant be turned in
-Merchant Alias confirmation window blank, then says "name already taken"
-normal unique spawn points or completely random?
- no dimensional pillars?
-Anahita river says mobs are 65-67 when u walk into area
-Lord can get stucked, maybe others can (im assuming we dont want them to stuck)
-no pick pet/prem/silk in Item mall?
-trading items only stacks of 40?
-Quest "Earth Icon" doesnt show map
-Larger stacks for Arrows and Pots plz
-TG lvl 20, 0 drops for lvl 60? (Change or leave it?)
-Do PT mobs really have greater drop chance or just more hp?
-Pots are pretty expensive if we are wanting to have a lower economy than other servers in the trillions of gold
-Can Website have charactor stats, Like highest +, gear value total, ect?
-DW Cave mobs lvl 63
-Suggest making sure that any mob 56+ can drop last tier gears, otherwise everyone will be botting yeti's
-Suggest making job areas drops double drops (6x), this will make it worth grinding in, rather that just afking at yetis

I know some cant be applied but i just wanted to throw them all out there. Thanks for reading

All you need is 180 mastery for dual wep str, light and ice are useless to me so I'll likely be dual wep str either way.

240 mastery should be tested before adding snow I think. Snow is such a game changer for nukers. Pure int spear with snow would dominate.

I'd also like to see stones/ tabs added 1-2 months after launch. More or less it gives us something else to do and helps the ints out some...they're going to need it.

Man 2 days and nothing ! This is very low working to fix this bug ! Need you 3~5h to fix all !

first things first: all the client settings (resolution and sound) reset to default with every re-connect, guess that F1-bar-bug belongs to this too.

What exactly is the point with this premium-coins from the mall? As long as they are not tradeable there is little use for them.

Job Alias doesn't work the way its meant to, but I like it just the way it is ;P

Please take all the time you guys need to fix the major issues before opening the server and please announce the opening date early. It won't make any difference cuz this server will only be played by those dedicated to the oldschool feeling and such people are quite patient ;P Just dont expect them to be many^^

Is it possible to drop lv 60 weapons?

i bot with 2 chars since you started the open beta and didnīt drop a single 60 wep at yetis which are lv 59 / 60 (dropped few lv 60 chests but not a single lv 60)

no 56 is last weapon in this server. 52 can be normal or SOS (which will be similar to 56+1) then there is 56.

Just my opinion.

A pure int should NOT win 1v1 against a pure str.

Every build has its strengths and weaknesses... and a pure int's weakness is a pure str char..

Just like a pure str can not out damage a pure int @ uniques.

My goal for balancing skills in not to balance everything for 1v1 pvp... if that was the case i might as well remove all skills and have you punch eachother.

My goal for balancing is giving every build pro's and cons. Teamwork as a guild / party is the key to silkroad.

There were no map points back in the day.
No dimension pillars until 110 cap either.
You are not supposed to get any drops from mobs if difference between your levels is 22 or higher.
Expensive pots are good for low economy ( expensive pots=less profit=less inflation)
Job alias works as it used to work before Legend I update.
If I remember right, you can fix F1 bug by deleting Settings folder.

Str is crit based while int is nuking/ imbue based. Pro and cons rely on the items you have and brain.

Let me en-light you on this path, my friend.
Int spear is the most vulnerable, but does the highest damage. nuke+spin+stun= death,
Int sword is based on nukes/combo/kd + block, for a higher survival chance.
Str glaive, highest phy attack, highest crit, alot oh hp + stun
Str blade, highest defs in game + block.
Bow, attack rate, distance , low def.
