Correct in both ways.

12.5 of quality tobacco = £4.25 (makes 40 cigs)

10 Mayfair - £4.00 (10 cigarettes)

50g of quality tobacco = £15 (makes 400~ cigs)

20 Mayfair = £8.65 (20 cigarettes)

Exactly. Both my parents and their parents are doing it as well. It's just the smart way to do it.
