Just a quick question, midnight2 isnt supported anymore right? Cant login or download a new one? Iam fine with midnight 1 though.

I just got multiple accounts banned for half a year after heavy use of this tool. I think they mass banned people who abused the Southsun Cove completion rewards (~5g + chance of BLK in ~4 minutes with teleports, fixed in last patch). The exploit has a measurable impact on market prices of karka shells and bulk exotics.
Anyone else experiencing bans for that or other matters? Be aware with giving out too much information thou, ANet can read this like anybody else.

The programs detected... lol they have crc checks for both heartbeat.exe and the dll's that inject into gw2... theres about a 90% chance that you will be perma'd for just injecting the program when log in with the game running. Never mind checks server sided.

Actually the program is not detected, they banned the people exploiting the Southsun Cove map completion rewards, even the ones using unf trainer (map clipping and speed hack).

The only thing they had to do is review which accounts sold a lot of exotics and karka shell.

Did they detect Visual Advance also?

Which part of "not detected" do you don't understand, at least not client side and I don't think they can't do it server side, do you even imagine the amount of "false positive" they would got? So my only theory is that they flagged the accounts getting a lot of exotic pieces and karka shell sold on trading post.

Never did it once once 2 accounts both banned.

Had one account use the hack for 3 days never used any options other then auto loot. Banned.

Arena net is literally going to every site that provides any sort of cheating/exploiting program. And are building server side checks and client side checks as well.

So if you use any of the programs out there just considered that account banned. And please, don't be like but buffy isn't banned. Yeah I'd post that i'm not banned either to keep my sales up to.

ive been playing gw2 for over a year now,with midnight frequently. I use speed and noclip for various things such as arah solo runs :) I dont use autoloot or such as i see them pretty dangerous to use based on what ive read about them. Suggest to not to use the features which cause you a ban easier :)

To clarify, I had multiple accounts banned while others remain active, despite using the tool. For me its clearly: Heavy abuse of SS rewards -> they fixed it -> they banned people who did it a great amount and impossibly fast. I don't believe they detect the tool, but people who get rich fast using known exploits and uses for teleportation, clipping etc. If they had better proof i believe they wouldn't ban for 1/2 year, but permanently.

Nonetheless I lay low at the moment, don't know if they flag IPs or something else. Better safe than sorry.

What to consider: I think PvE cheaters are not that great of a priority for ANet (unless there is a visible effect on the economy, just like SS rewards). Most people don't know or don't care that you can cheat like this and ANet wants to keep it that way. PvP cheating on the other hand is much more visible, ruins the experience of other players and creates bad publicity.

I managed to get it down to 72hrs :)

"I have investigate this issue again for you. Our investigations are thorough when we look into these types of issue. I have went and overturned the block to a 72 hour suspension."

Needless to say, I won't be using this app anymore!
