It was in fact a valid observation based off the posts you were making, they read like they were from someone in the middle of a mental breakdown.

You are welcome to express criticism here. Stay objective and do not insult anyone. If you have any problems, please solve them among yourselves or contact the complaint area. Attacks against other people do not bring you further, except to experience insults.

If you used a software/game/whatever enough and can afford it, you pay the developer.

In many countries a WoW subscription is not cheap and buying this guide can be 1-2 weeks of groceries., don't forget that.

Whilst I’m not keen on paying a full amount for the official RestedXP guides, I’m more than happy to contribute a donation of some kind, however little, here.

If you appreciate the guides and enjoy using it then that donation should go to the developers of the guide and not to the "pirate" sharing them is what Anazei meant.

1. You pirate a guide
2. You use guide
3. Guide makes you happy
4. You donate or buy the guide, pay to the creator/developer of the guide, not the pirate sharing it.
5. This shows appreciation to the developer of said guide/game/software/whatever.

This is the spirit of piracy that Anazei is talking about.

You already pay for the software, in the form of the monthly subscription fee to Blizzard to play World of Warcraft. Charging money for WoW addons is cringeworthy and ensuring as few people as possible pay for them is not just about saving money, it's the right thing to do.
