Phantom Lancer needs some fixes for the illusionstuff. His passive spawns too many illusions. The problem is, that each illusion has the same abilies as the original and can spawn illusions. at lvl 3 with only one illusion spawn after some seconds will there be 20. Its infinityloop. You have to disable spawnability for illusions. I fix this with doublewalk. Just spawn the illusion first, then applie the invisible state.

A secret note:

Sith Lord's first skill also makes him detect enemies with health below 50% (like Blood Hunter's skill)

Sith Lord's third skill also does a little bit of damage over time like radiance but alot less, the damage is so low that it only stops regeneration on most enemy heroes.

Jedi's Ultimate also makes him steal a little bit of mana, but very little.

Please include any of the heroes you like in the next version, also you are free to modify them as you please since they probably require tweaks.

Please note that they are not meant to be EXACT Dota ports. I changed some skills and added/removed things on purpose to make them more fun and/or fit the HON theme. Most HON heroes are more powerfull than Dota's so I had to buff their skills and abilities a little bit for them to be competitive, in fact the only EXACT port is Leoric the Skeleton King I think.

In the end I think the HON LAN version will have more heroes than FULL HON! Funny!

It is good that when they see the fans creating their own LAN version and considering all the server problems they are having they will be more likely to release a version with LAN enabled.

Please note that this LAN version is totally LEGIT since there is no "stop using it after beta ends" in the terms of use, at least not in this version's

Nice one with the terms of use stuff. Your heroes are totally great. I will implent most of them. The attacks are great, including the effects and stuff. And your textures are great. This WE we will test the new heroes in a real games. There we will see what fixes are needed.

Sordi.. can u fix the homecoming stone, steam boots cause it has the wrong item combination and also the ghost matchers.. dark mool has a checkered thingi in the grid.. tnx. ( i manage to change the item combination of the steamboots and ghost matchers but the steamboots wont change in str,agi and int type..

Thanks, it took me a week (two hours a day) to make them and 4 days(weekends) of tweaks and tests. I really don't understand why it takes so long for S2 to make new heroes since it is not really hard and we do it with no pro tools.

I am specially proud of the Dragon Knight, the Phantom Assasin and the two new heroes, I am also very proud of the Magnataur remake to Magnaogre, I think it is alot more fun and strong now.

PS: If you would like any specific hero to be ported, or a new hero to be made, just tell me and I will do it.

PS2: LAN 1.2 will be great!

that doesn't sound right. The biggest advantage for using phantom lancer is the clones. If you disable that, then this hero will suck. The ideea is to limit the number of clones to 5 or 6.


one more thing:
Hero: Chronos
Skill 1: Time Leap: doesn't make magic damage on land.

Hero: The dark lady
Skill 3: The charge attack. It should normally add bonus attack speed for a few seconds. It doesn't.

The easies solution to the problem of no more slots is letting the players choose wich heroes they want, they should go the heroes folder and add a "dev_legion" or "dev_hellbourne" to the main file of the heroes they don't want and therefore only display the heroes they like.

The hard solution would be adding more slots but I wouldn't worry about that yet, since adding more and more heroes is not a good idea since you are adding just a lot more things to fix.

Adding heroes might be fun but Sordit's bug fixing and coding is more important at this stage. I wish I could be more helpful on that but I work in a bank so it is kinda hard for me to get into such time consuming and stressful endeavor.

Try using the direct IP method, choose to connect to a especific IP like 192.186.0.210 (the game must be created on that host) Also you must be playing on the same HON LAN version.

It helps if you are both using WIN7 to create a HOMEGROUP or if you have WIN7 and WINXP in other computer let the WIN7 Host the game.

Also the Work Group under MI PC properities must be the same. IE: WORKGROUP

In DotA, PL has a maximum of 5 clones who can be created. Sordi already answers it, and I already says this.

Note: Here, Chronos isn't the 3.3.2' Chronos. that's why the Time Leap doesn't make damage...
Again, this is the old Dark Lady. That's why Charging Strikes doesn't have Zeal's bonus.

11) Jedi Master (LEGION): Manipulates the force to bring balance to Newerth.
12) Sith Lord (HELLBOURNE):Uses the dark side of the force to take down his enemies.

They might require some aditional balancing since I only play 3 vs 3 on LAN. Also some skills that were passive only in Dota can now be activated for aditional buffs, some skills like this include: Mortred's Blur, Centaur's Return etc.

I remember seeing a mod on the forum that added a whole host of dota ports, maybe you could nick that and add it? just a thought
