Editing DDS Files (How-To)

so, when i do that, and if i put anoter color on it, its good?! ^^

i downloaded the lightning effects for tornado, the directions obviously say locate the folder named 'thor' and backup/replace that folder with the downloaded version. so what exactly happens when there is no folder titled 'thor' anywhere inside my CO primary folder ?

Is it possible to edit some file and make my tao armor 120 even though im lvl 92?

changing the corret .c3 and .dds files might make that heppen but you will most likely give everyone around you errors

Yeah I see your problem hun. You're using the new Conquer 2.0 client. I'm not sure what to do about that yet, because I haven't been able to find the effects for the Tornado animation yet.

If anyone finds where they put all the old effects, let me know because I'm having a hard time and it's screwing with my modding skills.

Does anyone where where i can find the .DDS files for the lvl 110 armors?
Or can you only adjust the lvl 120lvl armors?

can any 1 tell me how to find these without paying

Hey Prototype I am currently using the CO2.0 and i downloaded the effect zip that was posted somewhere in the thread and my FB and tornando are changed. this is just something that i have done not sure if it will work for everyone.

P.S. You can also try just creating the folder and placing the edited files into it. Not sure it will work but its worth a try.

anyone knows how to do it for CO2 client ??? Primawolf i will give urs a try

I have few effects to share, I dont have screen shots, but believe me I'm a realy GOOD artist irl (I like to exadurate:p I just draw realy good), so dl these files and try em out, they look great...
one is Bloody Tornado (tornado effect)
second is 120 tao robe (red one)

Just take the effects from the upgraded 2.0 (1.0 2.0) and copy them into the texture folder and it'll work
