From the terms and conditions:
The referred individual must successfully create a valid LoL Player account as determined by Riot Games, Inc. (“Riot Games”) at its sole discretion, and must progressively “level up” that account until the referred LoL Player’s account reaches level 10, each such account being referred to herein as an “Activation”;
The referred individual must not have had a previous LoL Player account or be a current LoL Player for purposes of the referral. Creating self-made “smurf” accounts (social engineering/deceptive posting of referral links/self-“referrals”), or the use of bots/scripts, are prohibited and are in violation of the respective League of Legends Terms of Use Code of Conduct;
While participating in the Program, LoL Players shall not: send any “spam” or otherwise illegal emails; create bulk communications of any kind in any medium (e.g. mass text blasts; automated postings on Internet forums/ instant messages/phone calls); violate any local, state, or federal laws or regulations when attempting to create a referral; or otherwise engage in any obscene, objectionable, disparaging, defamatory, vulgar, pornographic, racist, sexist, or illegal behavior in connection to a referral(s). In the event a LoL Player engages in any of the foregoing prohibited activities, Riot Games reserves the right to terminate the LoL Player’s account, prohibit further participation in the Program, and/or effect forfeiture of Milestone Rewards. In addition, the LoL Player hereby releases, indemnifies, and holds Riot Games, its parents, successors, affiliates, agents, and assigns, along with their respective directors, members, shareholders, officers, and employees (collectively, the “Released Parties”), harmless from any and all claims that may arise as a result of such prohibited activities.
Influence Points. Referring LoL Players shall be awarded 250 “Influence Points” (“IP”) per each referred individual that successfully creates a valid account and “levels up” to level 5 on the way to Activation, subject to the terms herein;
Any LoL Player or other individual who attempts or otherwise encourages, directly or indirectly, referrals under multiple identities, and/or uses multiple computers, multiple Internet Protocol or email addresses, so-called “proxy servers,” or any software program to manipulate or create multiple identities/referrals, or uses any other device, method, or artifice to create or encourage, directly or indirectly, false referrals, as determined by Riot Games, will be disqualified from further Program participation and the LoL Player’s Game account may be terminated.
