ACME Crafting BOT

I think there might be a bug with orchestrion rolls. For example, when i try to craft Down the Up Staircase Orchestrion Roll with HQ disabled, the program begans to take up 12 GB of memory on step 1 before Windows closes it.

[edit] Okay, it was just at the limit of the program and my computer/gear/selected skills to craft this. It found a solution without crashing when I gave it better skills for high difficulty items like this, such as PBP.

What does it use to determine the craft level? I would like to know so that I can set a reasonable level to use food.

It uses the Recipe Level for the given craft. This information is hidden in the normal client, but you can find it here, for example,

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

shows a recipe level of 160.

It also shows up on the left side of the recipe name in AcmeCrafting itself in brackets.

thank you. the reason i wanted to know was because food is needed for certain level crafts.. and I didnt want to just disable it but instead make an edjucated choice.

It's best to just eat CP gaining food and control FC buffs if you're allowed. You can have shitty stats, but if you have CP for days then it will give the program more space to breathe. That's the way I've been going since using the bot, if you're not, then it's probably best to meld differently.

ACME, any progress yet on the retainer fix?

About the retainer bug, its easy to fix but Im only back home NEXT tuesday. (i just need 4 byte integer address that point to the current retainer number.)

CP is always the best stat regardless if its the bot or you playing, so you should always max it out when melding, it's much much much better than control/craftsmanship.

Wasn't a terrible loss with mat prices being down, but I eventually identified it would only do it in rotations that didn't have WN2. Any idea what might be causing it? For now I'm making sure all my crafters have WN2 crossed.
It's possible its a bug but its more likely you have something setup wrong, I havent touched the crafting algorithm in months, it doesnt use rotations it should always work unless you have really bad stats or/and skills (then it should throw out errors). Post a CraftFlowlog where it breaks so I can take a look, also there's always a possibility of rounding errors with the simlator and that can break items.

I've only been using this like two days and already can't live without it, is there anyway to donate to you or something for your work because this is one of the more impressive bots to me out there.

Looks like the patch from yesterday broke the bot
03/30/2016 10:30 AcmeCrafting#325
Damn! Not home til Tuesday, will fix it then it's probably really easy fix.

What cross class skills should i be using for the bot as a blacksmith? Before Baked Onion Soup my craftsmanship is 823 and control 769 and i attempted a adamantite ingot and the quality only got to 30%. It still HQd but its making me think twice.

What's your CP ?

In my limited time using it before it broke with the patch CP seemed to be the biggest factor in it's success rate especially on 2* crafts.

my CP is 438 with the food I eat.

Use the skills suggested on the first post for 2/3*, crafting is largely rng based, hard to say based on 1 craft how it is doing, if hts don't land you're getting screwed no way around that.

Dunno why it keeps pressing the shortcut to change class into the class required from the craft...

Assume i'm using Alt+Ctrl+Shift+Q to change into CUL.
I've got all of the required materials (in both NQ and HQ).
I define all of the crafting skills then when i launch the bot it simply keeps pressing Alt+Ctrl+Shift+Q every 2 seconds...

Any idea what may cause this weird behaviour?

I just noticed, right before clicking Post Quick Reply, that under the Options button in the bot it keeps showing "Alchemist" as class, even when after clicking the said shortcut, it changes to Culinarian in game.
