Indeed that's my point. In order to make something like this work back on the community a single section wouldn't be enough. Let's take myself for an example, I can't compete with any of the aforementioned people when it comes to programming but I'm not a complete retard either (opinions may differ). I'm willing to learn certain things every now and then by trial and error or reading a book, but I'm not dedicated enough to study all day just to have access to the underground.Quote:
Remember there are 2 groups. UG and Lv2. Ideally, to appease the people who want the secrets safeguarded so well, Lv2 would probably be the best place to dish them out as it'd be the "most exclusive" section. There'd have to be a reasonable way to get into it though to make it fair for those who don't have it though. If people would rather UG be the place for it, doesn't matter. Either way.
I've mentioned the non-leecher idea before and I'll mention it again. Obviously it can be named to anything and the requirements/standards to join can be adjusted. But I do think that apart from the 'elite' sections (which will probably remain UG) there should be a section with people that contribute to the forum in a certain way other than releasing. Just to differ the people who are just here to leech things from the people who are here to either learn things or spend lots of time helping people. Purely to minimize the gap between both sections. Because of the gap remains too big, I'll have to agree with Korvacs that there will be no difference with the current situation.
Edit: Didn't read Infamous' post about the Lvl2 / UG sections (same goes for bone-you). However I still think that standards should be lowered for the UG section. But that's obviously up to the people who are/will be in.
