make sure all is set to tcp not tcp & udp
then go [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] use this ip as your io.ip_address

also disable windows firewall *if u have a router it has a built in firewall so winfirewall isnt really 100% needed* or add exceptions for these ports, and gameserver.exe,auth.exe

problem solved
now you dont need hamachi and can use your actual wan ip to allow connections
same as hamachi tho only thing u change is io.ip_address:
rest stay 127.0.0.1
the extra ports if u noticed on that are mostly cashshop which isnt added but its for future installments if the ports we use are a reflect of galanets ports. so just add them and your preset
sorry for the noob question and thanks in advance

how do i port forward? im guessing it has something to do with SQL config manager?

Nothing to do with sql. I have no idea when it comes to coding myself, but if you don't know how to port foward, you really shouldn't be trying to set up a server >.>

Type your IP address into web browser, then depending on your router, a site should come up allowing you to find your way to port fowarding options :)

nope are you behind a router?
if so what os? meaning windows xp or vista or win7

No, you can forward ports through your router settings.

Google it. You should find a site with port forwarding instructions for many games. Just change the ports to the ones listed in this thread in your router settings. Next, config your firewall to allow those ports to connect as well by using a customized permission.

Look under the model router you are using. Like I sad before though, make sure to establish permissions manually in any firewall you may have.

well thats what i was asking if they said win7 i would have said type cmd in search bar then type ipconfig then take the ipv4 address the one hat says 192.168.x.x put that ip here
dont worry guys its local lan ip no one can hack you with that as everyones lan ip is pretty much the same to an extent its like 127.0.0.1 you can connect or anyone on your network but no one out side that network can access it
by example if its 192.168.2.3 then your router page is 192.168.2.1 the last digit is always a lesser number then your actual ipv4 address normally and it depends on your placement in the network if your connected as the main pc then instead of 3 you would be 2
hince 192.168.2.2 instead of 2.3

Watch out when using a split configuration! The ports must go to the right local IP address (e.g. gameserver IP to the computer hosting the gameserver, authserver IP to the computer hosting the authserver, etc.)

this is 100% true
but i hope those using hamachi are a single unit at least for now when they do this

Quick update. We are still tweaking the package we want to release. We are making sure all of the fixes are included and tweaking the items for the KTS NPCs. Yes, those include most of the popular CS items (ss, ac, rebirth, altered pieces, looters, cloaks, helms, etc).
