After reading these forums for over 12 straight hours... NOT FINDING THE INFO I SEEK...
And seeing nothing but a bunch of pissed off asinine comments telling people to look for information i have to say fuck off jackwagons.

I have done everything TO THE LETTER and still cannot get past login screen. My head and eyes hurt from trying to find the information. Everything works fine accept the user name and password. I cannot believe that there are sooooooo many immature pricks out there that will not answer a simple question.

IF YOU WOULD THERE WOULDN'T BE FOURTY THOUSAND PAGES OF BULLSHIT TO COVER WHAT SHOULD ONLY BE THIRTY PAGES

I should add to the chaos and post this in every thread pertaining to private servers.. What a bunch of idiots.. Everyone that I read an insulting reply from should be banned.. Glad I will be. Sorry I ever started down this path. I want the last 15 hours of my life back

Dude cry a little harder, I got my server set up within like the first hour and never had a problem past that and if I did have a problem I didn't use guides to figure it out I used my brain -- if that's to hard for you then running a private server was never for you and there is an ever distinct possibility that you need to go back to play Hello Kitty Online.

i set up everything and it worked fine
but when i now start the server, it says

start_service

i said it already worked fine before

but after restarting the server, something with the acceptor failed

I got it working .. to no help of this site.

The problem was no fault of mine but the files I got from this site. The server files had been altered and the login information was incorrect and every time I changed it it dind't take.

I got the correct sever files off site

I'd thank you but I never asked a question

Does nobody know how to fix the "Acceptor initialize... failed" problem from CaptainHerlockServer?

ive seen people having the same problem quite a few times, but always without a solution...

it worked before i dont know why it doesnt work anymore

where do i get 1.3? i only found some1 posting an .exe of it on this board... can i trust this one?

in writing set game.open_external 1 I do not see anything. Is this normal?

time to enter and will not appear error but also fall.

I wait and wait and wait but nothing happens. help me plz

@etzorft: when you right set game.open_external 1 it does not display anything all it tells the server to do is open the port to allow people to login to the server from the client :)

Depends on the Repack you are using. This account is not in all db versions included. just create a new one.

I donno how they told me to copy the md5 and write the password directly after it


but the password box can take only 32 char. and the md5 is 32 how can I write the password there is no space for that

nope. Look at this:

Your Password (you want to put it in the game like this): iampro
What you put in the md5-gen: 2011iampro (when your md5 salt is 2011)
What you get: [funny gibberish] -> c&p in the db
