Private Server Info and Support Thread

and thats exactly why we dont need more open source projects.. people will just download them..beg for tutorials... beg for troubleshhoting since they have no idea what to do with them. i believe there are more than enough files around to create a server if you really want.. giving people more and more polished files is just gonna result in more and more of "new and best pserver" spam threads

Does anyone here have an editor that can edit Scripts and not corrupt the SWF?
I can't find any which is a shame because the 10.0 client has a lot of cool old features disabled.

Actually I am using Visual Studio Code, export the whole Script folder and open it via VSC easy going + you'll find everything faster with it.

Edit the bytecode directly from jpex or use something like [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. Otherwise you will break the swf.

I tried to edit directly through jpex and it keeps breaking the .swf anyway, I think I'll test the one you sent, thanks!

Why tf all private servers are copy paste or pve? I mean i remember in 2015 there was a big variety of them.

A "new" main.swf is out there. Someone here who encrytped it successfully?

Everytime DarkOrbit does an Sync / Update the main is getting changed on few spots which is going to be the "new" main.swf.

You can Encrypt it by using DarkBots Dev Tools.

I downloaded MGL_RELOAD user's open source sources and I want to try to review it. but I can't do this because I don't have any knowledge on IIS. How can I install on my localhost?

I can't import SQL to MariaDB and upload it to my localhost.

Simple, they all use the same source (DarkOrbit 7.5.3 / 9.0 / 10.0 - Open Source), and we know there are more than just 1.

It's a mix of the 4.x / 7.x.x with the 9.x + UI.

Pretty sure the Unkown Universe repo. on github has those graphics, well atleast the older graphics

Hello, i have a question... How can i remove Drone Formations, is there a possible way? Trying to find them in "Game" Folder... but yeah ^^ didn´t find them. Maby somebody can help me
