Hello! I'm an ex-DemonRoad player, played that server for nearly 2 years and was a top player in both Velika and Killian, and I'll give my honest review of the server since I left.
You will see a lot of random screenshots thrown around from both sides, it's pretty messy. I will help clear that up for all of you new users looking at these comments.
I joined DemonRoad 2 years ago, at the point when item selling was just becoming a thing for the old server, which is now closed. The server used to be a really friendly, active, pvp-filled place. Constant fun at uniques and fortress war. I used to really enjoy playing there.
However; as the months passed, the server's quality along with the attitude of the administration progressively went downhill.
Near the end of Velika, extensive corruption was ongoing (i.e. some users had added stats, rigged items, etc.) and there was a severe imbalance between guilds and horrific economic inflation. At that point I took a break from the server, and also at that point, Velika died (and later on closed after 8 years of service).
I was surprised when I heard that a new server (Killian) was opening, and I was contacted by many people urging me to join. Although hesitant because of the last stage of Velika, I still wound up agreeing to join because I was bored and not busy at the time.
At the beginning of Killian, everything was quiet and peaceful. There was not a lot of activity, it was somewhat dead, however the server began to grow with time, and there were no signs of serious corruption. Everything was going really well and I was happy that I made the decision to join.
Everything went downhill from this point.
As the majority of players started reaching the max level and activities began occurring, a guild, widely favored in Velika, named "Supremacy" has joined the server with a slew of members. As soon as they arrived, everything had begun to go wrong. Corruption was affluent, people spreading screenshots, rumors, etc.
I was still playing and competing in the server at that point, being the 4th player to create a set qualifying for the Blazing Bones achievement. But, not long after my speculations were not just thought, the theories about corruption were true. I had received multiple screenshots, that would be impossible to edit, of discord conversations, videos of voicechats, and more screenshots of website contents for certain Supremacy players via. mobile devices (no inspect element).
At the same time, I had discovered that the administrator of the server, Konstantin, was insulting me behind my back, after I had helped him with no charge or reward for advertising content, got him exclusive deals throughout the community, and much more. Not to mention the favoritism for the Supremacy guild was increasingly becoming more and more obvious... the GM even made two Supremacy members the EM's of the server.
At that point I decided it was not worth playing and I quit and gave away all my items. A few days later, my account, IP, and HWID was banned - for no reason other than quitting the game. This administrator also teased, bullied, and harassed numerous friends of mine all in an effort to defend the Supremacy guild, and I can prove everything I said here with screenshots, tens of them. A lot of spam for a simple message - do I recommend this server? No, I do not. Absolutely not and never will again. While this server used to be a great casual choice, it is not one at all anymore. Everything and everyone changed.
If you like to be lied to, partake in extreme pay2win corruption, 24/7 botting and playing with the same 1-2 parties everyday, then this is the server for you.
If you are looking for a server with a similar play experience, I recommend AngelRoad, KenyDo, or Sailor 130 cap (although all besides AngelRoad are pretty inactive nowadays).
(oh and p.s. inb4 someone leaks a FAKE AND EDITED SCREENSHOT of me saying cringy shit about the administrator.)
