Hi. This is actually hilarious.

You all must be freakin' sheep. A month ago, everyone was in absolute denial in the possibility that none of these bypasses worked.

Also, for someone who has made packet editing available to all and released a "bypass" to care about "mabi going to hell" is definitely worth a few laughs.

You had the "bypass" there in the first place because you honestly believed it worked. Any other reason would imply you were out to take advantage of the community's ignorance and further crush what little credibility this community has. I would have to wonder why the moderator is quick to punish people who call him an idiot and yet chooses not to deal with the ones who are causing the real damage.

I have Mabinogi EU so I just assumed that was what was wrong, but I guess it never worked for anyone. Good thing I didn't waste more time trying to get it to work.

All the more reason to consider you an idiot for taking advantage of that to peddle a fake bypass. Your reasoning is pretty irrelevant. Doesn't change the fact people had religiously believed in the bypass with even the moderator citing it as a reason why this community is superior to others (lol). I mean, someone had to fabricate evidence to "prove" it worked.

And I agree, the PE would still work because it has always worked. It never needed a bypass in the first place. Of course due to the public exposure and effects thereof, I can only guess it will be blacklisted in a future hackshield update.

If everyone worked together and shared ideas and information, this place would actually be a lot better. one, since it would be a lot smaller; and two, because people wouldn't register, and then start downloading things or making stupid requests. with both of those things going for it, people would share more things, and newer and better stuff would be created. Example: if this was a smaller group of trusted people, and I could trust people not to randomly spread shit to the entirety of the Mabinogi community (thus, ruining the game [for us at least]) I would actually feel safe enough to post the REAL working bypass, and maybe more. but as of now, some things must be lied about, and some things must be used as deterrent.

also, public exposure? i hope they DO get banned for overusing it (the leechers, at least), because its extremely inferior to other mods in the sense of being actively used.
its great for a few things, namely the owl event, and messing around with PvP Damage percentage. Minor things, but still helpful.

Huh? Where did I mention Nexon? "I can only guess it will be blacklisted in a future hackshield update" is the phrase I used. It would only be reasonable that the hackshield software handles that part since that is what it does.

The rest of your post, I completely agree. Obviously, judging from the rest of my posts, you are most likely aware I too, don't think too highly of the public community. But who's to say we have the right to fuck with them? They don't need our help to remain ignorant.

Also, who says you need to share with the public? I don't. Anything from me only gets sent to whoever I feel should have it. My primary complaint is that you're spreading misinformation. It was already stupid to release a bypass, it was just even more stupid to release a non-working bypass as it gets in the way of any chances for innovation. It would've been much more desirable just to have released the packet editor and avoid this whole debacle.

It was already known I disagree with the state with the modding community and how releasing anything on here is basically equivalent to sending a bug report to Nexon/devCat/AhnLabs to fix it. The obvious response was my refusal to contribute to such a mess but at least I know better than posting fake shit. If anyone was looking to develop a real bypass based on the bypasses released here, not only would they have wasted a significant amount of time, but it probably would've confused the fuck out of them because you can't get anything valuable from reverse-engineering garbage.

Regarding to what I can only assume was your true intent out of this, I probably should make the mention of Fantasia. First off, spr33 is probably the only person who has publically made progress in hindering hackshield's capabilties and was willing to provide a public solution. Deterrents aren't necessary if you believe the public should not have a bypass. Just don't share like I do. Fake bypasses won't really stop anyone who knows what they are doing and only adding to the amount of misinformation, wasting time and confusing the fuck out of everything else.

In regards to lying, there really isn't much to lie about, Dark Raccoon was already accomplishing that with MabiRaccoon. I fail to see why you needed to add to it.

tl;dr: People don't need your help to be stupid, they're doing fine on their own. No bypass > Fake bypass.
