So I tried installed VMware, changed the debugger setting, checked all 3 boxes, and installed a new cilent of GC in VM. Currently using Windows XP SP2 in my VM. I tried to run grandchase and after Gameguard has been executed, the follow error popped out: "This game does not support your 3D VMware SVGA II" (I did installed DirectX). So I asked my friend for advice and he gave me this site: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and told me to run accelerated 3D, So I did. The Error is gone. GrandChase was lauched afterward but the screen is all flashy;from white to black then to the GC screen then repeats itself. After the trademarks appeared and disappeared, it's suppose to be brought to the Login screen. However my cilent didn't. Instead, the crusor for grandchase appeared, but the screen is still flashing black and white and no login screen appeared. I tried asking my friend for advice but he said this problem had never occured to him and cannot help me. So I'm asking you guys for help and it will be appreciated.

Also I'm using VMware version: 6.0.5 if that makes a difference...

@davie14
ok, at 1st im experiencing the same problem before, but now it only appears when my pc's memory reading is in trapik.. what i mean by this is.. you see while playing im on
multitasking program, GC,WMP,YM,VMWARE w/ GC,Chikka,USB's,UTORRENT,AV <= these things
eats a lot of memory, so sometimes the error appears.

here's the TIP
open the VMware 1st, load GC, after you log. then Open the GC in your Main computer.
then dont use any programs aside from these 2.

here's my specs:
mboard: ASRock 3D Accelerator with 700+BuiltinVideo and 1GB memory ready
processor: AMD DualCore 5000+ 2.6GHrtz
mem.stick: 2GB singlestick kingston
directX: 9.0c latest patch update
os: XPSP3
------------------------------------------
in VMware
HDspace: i only use 4GB
memory: 512MB
os: XPSP3 w/ Latest Patch Updates drivers.

GC is the only program that im using in the VMWARE.

you see, even though im using multitasking program, my vmware runs smoothly
i dont even have a vcard, im only using the builtin vcard on my mboard.
the vmware version im using is VMware Workstation 6.5.1 Build 126130 Final

@luckylegend
the thing is, you cant get to the login window, well open 1st the GC in VMware before
doing anything else. and also check the directx you install if its the latest.

@davie14
@luckylegend

check your specs
and adjust your specs in vmware.

ahh,.,
may prob po ako
tungkol sa pag install ko
so
1st. ginamit ko po ung cd option sa pag install ng processor.
wala naman pong prob pagkatapos nun pero after a while
pagka "power on this virtual machine" biglang pong nagkaganito:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

2nd. nung ginamit ko po ung account nung administrator, inulit ko po ung pag install
ng windows xp, tapos ang lumabas naman ay:
"L3DT is not found
press ctrl+alt+del to restart the computer"

ilang beses ko na po nirestart both ung computer at ung vmware ver
pero same end lang ang nangyayari hayzzz.....
plss help??..,,.,.,.,

@miko
i think.. gawin mo dapat na admin use yung vmware or yung pc na ginagamit..
something like inaallow ng admin to use such program,, or try to restart your
pc.. check settings again,.

--------------

anung version ng vmware ang gamit mo?
and anung XP yung nasa vmware?
tignan mo yung mga specs sa above post
kung parehas lang.. baka sa OS mo sa Vmware
ang may prob.

Memory: 2942 MB RAM
DirextX version: DirextX 10

OS: Windows Vista Home premium
-----------
VMware specs
Hard Drive: 8GB
Memory: 804 MB
DirectX: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.00000.0904) .. (Dunno if it's updated)
OS: Windows XP PRO SP3 (just realize it's not SP2, installed this windows long time ago)

if its bothering you on why GC has a sh!tty graphics on vmware.... its because VMware uses only the virtual onboard memory of your Motherboard's graphic driver.
06/03/2009 04:53 haxatax#313
why can i hack gc with vmware?
06/03/2009 07:07 qwertybugoy#314
@luckylegend
well this may sound a little effort of work ;)

i see.. ok, try this.. reinstall your vmware again OS & GC.. let's see if it's the same result.. and try to follow the settings posted in the 1st post.

@ichigorio
graphics is not he's problem.. he can't get to the login screen ;)

@haxatax
maybe what your doing is wrong.
