where is the npc dialog in the database? was gonna work on translating some of it later...

seem to have everything else working though thanks.

cq_ActionX is the table you're intrested in. use mysql gbk & east asian languages in windows locate to show chinese chars. then you can translate them.

run the mysql setup wizard, and choose GBK as encoding for your databases.
then install support for east asian languages in regional settings(control panel)
you can then read the chinese chars & copy paste them to translator(I use systran)

Is there any way to change the drops on the server.
I dont seem to get item drops (only xmas sack,cards,gold and stones) but no items.
Im using client v1078

yah if anyone knows the file that controls the exp/drop rates on the server that would be great.


I think i found the level exp data but I'll have to decode the levelexp.dat in the client to make them match up (currently the server and client information for level exp are different and thats why your character will show themselves with like 1-2 percent and they will still level)

Does anyone have a pre-edited one or know which file I would need to edit in the database?

LevelExp.dat in the eud client should have the original information but its encoded, hopefully the decoder for conquer will work on it... gonna try to find one that will decode it now.

server side is cq_leavexp

apears to have exp chart for both eud and player leveling.... its set REALLLLYY low... for example:
level 30 takes 5000 exp for a level... thats like 5-6 hits non xp skill lol....

anyways I gonna start changing them and if/when I get done the chart I'll upload it for you guys... assuming I can decode the LevelExp.dat first :S

i need some help im trying to connect people to my server but after they get all the files in and everything that has to be done and they go to login it says server is under maint and ideas

is your server set online? (all the ip's for login/game server being your external internet ip which can be found at a site like [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...])

is your oem.ini telling the game to connect to 127.0.0.1? if so thats telling it to connect to THEIR pc, you need a online ip (again wwwwhatismyip.com)

if it still dont work and its letting you connect using external ip address could be ports/firewalls or their client not being patched right.

aperently it could be my router but how could i make it work and thats all there is left weve reinstalled there clients and resent all the files need repeatedly everything is exactly how it should be well except for the whole not being able to get on thing -_- if anyone can pm ur msn and help me out with this it would be very much apreciated

MySQL? :S where do i get that? Btw, what ip do i need to put on the Oem.ini ?

1. google for: mysql community 5.1 download
2. 127.0.0.1 is the right IP if you run client and server on the same PC.

anyone has actuelly a idea what a gm can do?
