But guys before you do, realize that TwoMoonsAutoPlayer is not specifically better then moonbot. I've tried both, and both depend on the map you play on. Crespo: Definitely TwoMoonsAutoPlayer.
Draco-Desert: DEFINITELY moonbot.

You have to find places to bot with what you already have, because it's actually pretty good. I'm a level 70, and I bot at the rate of 20% an hour with moonbot at Draco-Desert. For level 70, that's really good. Considering that I get 20% from a solo Crespo Dungeon Run B...

With TwoMoonsAutoPlayer I get maybe 14-16% an hour. Simply because the monsters dont have a much of an agro range; And they are more spread out.

At Crespo with TwoMoonsAuto, I was getting 25-30% every hour at level 59-61. With moonbot only 15%...

it's only where you level. This thread is pointless and should be closed, but you still have moonbot right here available on this forum.

P.S
Nice Tip For Moonbot!!! Don't Read UNLESS you are using moonbot, or plan on AND you have some difficulties finding the monsters efficiently.
Alright, if you have everything setup and working you're now looking for monsters...
So, go find the monster you want. ScreenShot it, paste it into first opened Paint, now go find some scenery of the map, so you get a lot of different colours there, then screenshot the scenery, paste it into ANOTHER paint document. Once you've done that, open the first screenshot, select the Marker tool, Select a colour that will stand out, like yellow, black, red or white.
NOW you go 'colour find' a monster which you will be hunting in the first screen shot. Now save all the changed and etc in moonbot, and press start on the moonbot. But don't go into the game, alt+tab into that paint document, and watch where the moonbot will click. the marker tool will click everything that moonbot finds. This way you can tell exactly how your bot will react without having to leave it and observe it... Now if it only selected the monster, that's good. Now you do the same to the scenery screenie. If it doesn't click anywhere on the sceneary, or only clicks once to three times... that means you're ALL SET to bot. BUT if the your bot selected a lot of different places but not on the monster, you now need to just research the colour accordingly. Meaning go look at the colour that the bot clicked on. And when searching for other colours of the monster, keep that scenery colour in mind, and stay on the contrast of it. Rinse and repeat until you get only 1-3 clicks on the scenery.

Here are some numbers I got from my tests.
Perfect Bot:5-9 Clicks on the monster, 0 Clicks on the scenery
Good Bot: 3-4 clicks on the monster, 0 Clicks on the Scenery
Alright Bot: 2-3 clicks on the monster, 1-2 clicks on the scenery.

Right now at Draco Desert I have a perfect bot. Clicks on each monster 5-9 times (4 montser, btw) and clicks 0 times on the scenery.
P.S These recordings are based of different rates of time, but they still show possible results.
This is just a useful tip, for botting with moonbot, as this one is not going to see the light of day on your hard-drive. Good luck botting,
great post, i used moon bot but did not like it too much, I was trying to find colors that would work with more then 4 monsters. UNLESS someone knows a way to get moonbot to click more then 4 monsters, then that would rock!

Namek303, try contacting the creator, or:
when I just looked through the files, theres a MoonBot config, which has this:
1=16724992
2=0
3=0
4=0

I don't know what would happen if you were to add
5=COLOR...
it just maybe might work. Worth a try atleast. I would myself, but Im on my laptop elsewhere, and moonbot (or any bot for that matter) just won't work properly on this laptop. Considering that I am pretty fimilair with setting the moonbot/most bots up (I bot on my PC). Either way. I'll try myself when I get a chance.

And about this post: The creator didn't necessarily lead us on. As previously stated: This bot has been released on another forum, but for whatever reason does not wanna post it here. Simple. Matter of fact it might be posted later on in the private section of this forum, but thats not a certainty. If you really wanted this bot you'd go find the forum (not hard). Do the required post, and get it. But my previous post was about comparison, and basically you can do without one or the other.

EDIT: Got a possible idea that might work. Run one moonbot, as usual, then run up the second one. and go into skills. Uncheck EVERYTHING, so it doesn't attack. Just selects colours, and let the other bot do the work. Just make sure both bots are started on a very close time. Meaning it's literally, you click start, and start on the other. While running both, one moonbot would have 4 colours, and another moonbot would have another 4, but only for clicking purposes, because if you think about: moonbot cycle is to search for enemies and stop looking if the health bar on top appears, then both scripts will simountainously stop searching, and then the first moonbot would take the kill, and both bots should start again at the same time because both are restarted after the kill.... This is a more probably possibility. But if your computer doesn't take a lot of strain, is old or weak, I wouldn't recommend it. Because if there is a lag the bot's timings will get knocked off.... So no lag = will work. A lot of lag = probably not.

well i'm not worried about lag, but i tested your first idea with the adding a 5=, and it does not work AT all.

Alright, try my other suggestion. I just did it, it seems to work. Only flaw is: SOMETIMES the bot might spin the screen 2 times, but its rarely.... it won't affect. I think that will work geniously. Especially considering I just tried this on my VERY LAGGY laptop.

Just make sure of one thing: when running 2 moonbots, you copy the moonbot so you have 2 seperate that .exes to open. Otherwise the settings you set for one will affect the otehr if you run the same .exe

where is the download link?
08/20/2008 21:33 cosmin7#292
not really vasvas...it's a good idea but i suggest that is better to dc when the shield gets down more than half of it...cause usually (i tell you from my experience) and esspecial for summoner...those with high levels ussualy are hitting the lower levels and especially the summoners cause they have pets who attack them and the high levels will kill him

EDIT:sorry but i was in a hurry and i didn't saw there are lots of answers...

Would be nice if you could have it buy pots onces it has run out, and maybe buy bolts and arrows for hunter once there out. No biggie but that's the biggest problem with the other bots.

*EDIT* Didn't see how old the site was.
