How can i open my ports?
And my password is 123456 i've checked when i connect to my db with MSQL server management studio

Password for database access for user SA is DES hashed with the tool that is supplied with the server release.

For your LAN server

You have to set 2 addresses in your gameserver.opt to your LAN address that the server is on...

You probably will have to open the port traffic both inbound and outbound in windows advanced firewall for the auth port and the gameserver port

Then your .bat launcher needs to point to that address from the clients.

Hello all, its been awhile. I got nostalgic for Rappelz and decided to remake this server. Got everything set up and its all running. Just one thing...

i opened a new query and pasted this in and made sure auth database was selected:

However, I got this error in sql:

Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string.

Any help would be appreciated. (i even tried changing the date and time within the query to todays date and time..)

You have * in the middle of date and time values. Whats up with all of those? they are usually for wildcards in queries but then they are within the single quotes so I dont know what happens then. It will try to put them in dates if the are 'quoted'

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to set up a server for myself and it was working fine yesterday at the end of the process. I've been able to connect (and re launch the client to upgrade my permission).
However today it doesn't work anymore and I don't know why. It seems like the client doesn't send any meaningful info to the auth.

I don't know how to copy/paste from these windows but here is what I get when I enter my ID and password:
From the Auth Server : "!!!!!Invalid Message from 127.0.0.1[ID: 1957, Size: -1640872455]

I've re extracted the client, added the DLL, the cmd, tried with an other client, recreated an account in the dbo.account table, recreated the RevoSite database, but so far nothing work.
I get the exact same message if I don't write the password to login.

Do you guys have an idea of the issue ?

I'm just stupid, I've been copy/pasting 'game.open_external 1' instead of 'set game.open_external 1' for the last 3 hours. Sorry for the up.

Hello, when i try to start the game with bat launcher i get gameguard error. err code[150]: Game Guard file does not exist or has ben altered.

The difference being, A hash is non reverseable so how would the server know what the password is? Encryption can be decrypted to get the original values, This way you can safeguard data, HOWEVER it can be reversed.
The point I'm making is it's just used as a barrier of entry to get it, such as if it gets stolen you have time to change it :)
