Official 5165 FAQ/Question thread

Hmmm Well I type the id and pass into the login field and press enter and the client just freezes... This is starting to piss me off xD

hi all can you help for this plz
1-I need help with fixing the damage calculations in 5165 if any of you have any info on this I'd be very grateful.
2-so you can give me the code to the npc in prison makes you go out every 30min

i got a problem i saw a few times reading threw all 29 pages but i tryed the fix's and couldnt seem to find any that worked :/ alright so everything opens and runs fine then i open the client and run it and it loads up and its just like a normal log in screen for co but theres no servers and when u click to type in your user name or password it just shuts the client down and yes i tryed dif exe's >.< well i hope someone can help :D

Try using this server.dat.
Search for RebelGaming and change that entire section to fit your settings.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].

That means there is something wrong with the server.dat file.

hmm well ive never actuly saw one that looked like this one b4 the old set up im use to is

but the one u sent me and the one that came inside the client are set up like

idk if thats just co's new way of doin it or what but thats how they are (i havnt messed with privet servers for a few months)

Didnt place the database folder in the root of your C Drive, go read the guide again.

First. im a noob at this
2nd. Theres nothing said about database folder in the guide (if u mean the OldCODB folder then as soon as I copy it to drive C: ill get an error when i run NewestCOServer)

do skills work ? reborn ? etc etc....?
