An official warning for all hosters

Well, i only tried to help. The reason why Nemesis got hacked that much? Because i have plenty of enemies, and some people who i rather not want to know, know my other names. I you would be in my position you would have given up already. The fact of the matter is that i tried to help everyone, and you just stabbed me in the back. My server has been down because of hardware problems, which now should be solved, my connection has never been the problem.

We do pay thousands of dollars to keep our server up and running the way it is now. I did not gave wrong information about your server, the server was, in fact, wiped, because of the backups you made you were able to get back on track as fast as you did, which is a good thing. But to avoid it you have to use measurements. I got some new information that might be intresting, but i will not let this slip out since i might get in problems with someone else at the moment. I can say that it is NOT Aeriagames, i bet my whole server on that. Which means alot to me...

Well.....we don't want to risk putting our server into the hands of someone else, if something goes wrong we can work on the problem STRAIGHT away as it is right infront of us, so therefore that we are a 'joke' is a useless statement as we could say the same thing right back at you. We have the knowledge to run a server from home, and make sure our internet isn't capped (which by the way, is different from America's ISP's). I personally feel safer having our server completely 100% in our own hands. Your previous statement about all this hacking makes us stronger, well yeah it does, now you are contradicting saying that we are a joke now, you DID get wiped, where was your website? Yeah you had back ups but it still happened.
People should turn their backs on you as well as Shaiyaner for that statement, as clearly you are bothered about your own server and no one elses, like a baby throwing their toys out of the pram because you got targeted, well EVERY pserver is, not just you.

He tried to give a little advice through 4 years of experience, and you call him " a joke ".
Unfortunatley that just about says it all for the integrity of yourself and your server...

okay.. i was reading the whole thing and what was happening.

i can almost guarantee you that it was NOT Aeria Games. the reason for that is because if Aeria Games have a major problem with us and wants to take action, they would have done it the legal way and try to sue us, not send an e-mail and try to crash down servers.

also.. why would you lecture on danco's way of running a server if it works well and have yet to crash, while yours did? hmm.. curious... and don't bother trying to cover up your little pride because it's not going to work here. your server crashed, danco's didnt, so cut off the ego, ktthanks

Adding anything further to this is kinda useless because i agree with everyone on nemesis side here.

Having a great internet connection is very important and yeah, dedi servers are more willing to have them but honestly i'm more willing to put my eggs in the basket of someone who IS willing to spend thousands on their server, honestly whether they're using their own money or donations doesnt matter. The fact that they're spending that much to have a great server really says something.

Its so much faster and easier to just have your own. Plus, i personally wouldnt want anyone but Ben and i to have our databases. All u gotta do is find the wrong dedi server and all your info is gone..........

Show facts, or zip it. Myself or my staff would never harm any other server, I actually enjoy visiting a few of them and have friends on several. End of story.

you go Titan lol ya its fun to have FRIENDLY compatition amongst pservers it helps us devs put our minds to better use to creat something no other server has to intice the players to your server.. but back to track on the emails it is quite funny that only a select few resived the emails as i know a few preaty good servers that have yet to get them and i myself now that i know were ta double check b4 trashing it will be alot less scared ta run my server.. at first glance the average creator would look and be like o shnap i beter shut down but if you realy dig and know a good deal on laws alot and i do mean alot is not in the letter that would be... 1 main thing is well sonov owns copyrights of shaiya not area so sonov would be mentioned in the letter along with a copyright holder dosenot send the letters them self it would be from there attorneys and even more there would be NO TYPOS as they would spell check tell it broke lol y send a letter to tell you quit if its riddled with typos that just shows bad character as an owner and would be thrown to the side as trash by any1 who reads it.. and asfar as titans remark i /agree show proof or zip it cant say he did this he did that unless you have proof to back it up cause without proof its just hearsay and dose exactly what the senders of the emails want us devs to do TURN AGAINST EACHOTHER ( or atleast thats how it seams to me) so if you have no proof id sugest to just keep it to yourself as not to cause flaming but now proof is alot harder to deny so show it or shut it thats my motto

I have a home connections of 150 down and 35 up Unlimited through Fios.
I would never host a dedicated server from home because sometimes things happens and the line is down. that is where data center's with multiple redundant backbones come in. that's there job.
and I am in the U.S. and i have no cap on my internet usage as most companies in the U.S. don't just a few small insignificant companies do that here.

My server is hosted in Zurich with all my other dedicated stuff stays out of reach of legal troubles that way.

And about the competiton... that i know of i have none i am friends to all and develop files for all... as of right now i HAVE all 3 new dungeons, because of my OWN hard work.. as well as the level 70 armors :p i can say that danco and lilpro has been there to bounce ideas off of when i had questions but i mostly work alone
