LOL The same files and guide that has been around forever. And the same problems.
I've had my version running locally for a few months now. Had to do a bit of messing around to initially get it to work, running on windows 7. But it is possible. It took me about 8 hrs of headscratching to figure it all out. you don't have to use the accserver from the original download, you can mix and match. pretty sure i didn't use the original due to some of the same issues. the msvcrt.dll was useless to me and didn't solve any problems, btw you can't just cut and paste a .dll file in your system32 folder.
unfortunately, i can't remember exactly what i did to fix the issues i was having either.:p so if you find a fix, please post it.
check C:/[Your server name]/AccServer/Gameserver.cfg
make it
1000 1 127.0.0.1 1 root test jz
instead of
1000 1 127.0.0.1 1 root test JZ
also make sure your .net framework is up to date
