[Suggestion] Split this forum category into two seperate ones immediately

Agreed. Supporting ZeroSignal's post.

However, seeing as the new moderator is completely unresponsive and not very active I doubt any changes will happen. lilProHackers application for moderator was ignored, and that tells me the site owner or whoever is in charge of it doesn't really care about this section.

for the people saying that he's just bitching, and just trying to get the forum to be the way he wants it... wrong he is just saying to split the forums to a section where private server adv.. and server dev's wont be smashed up together, that's why most of the posts for people asking for help go unread

We are put in a difficult situation and we really need this.

but how about you guys send our section mod a pm and tell him to ask one of the admins of Epvpers to do so.

I would have to say I agree with the division of the forums.

Especially being that it now seems that the Dev Team forum has vanished. Either that or for some odd and random reason, I was suspended o.0

Anyway, I can say this much...

If things are followed more closely by the mods of the shaiya section here, and the Dev Team forum is closed for reasons beyond control...

Oh well, I've spotted this thread by accident, it would be better to post such requests in our complaint forum to get problems fixed fast.

However, we've 3 options regarding the pserver development forum:

- creating a Shaiya Private Server Development forum (pserver dev discussions & releases only)
- creating a Shaiya Coding Corner forum (like in the silkroad forum, all discussions & releases regarding shaiya developments)
- creating a Shaiya PServer Guides & Releases (like in the conquer online forum, pserver guides & releases only, no discussions, no questions)

I think letting the community decide is the best option here :)

p.s. elitepvpers does not support advertising similar sites to epvp, it doesn't make sense to build another forum if you aren't experienced with this kind of content, probably the most "private server" forums (or their host) would shut down the site by receiving the first legal complaint, elitepvpers don't.

I’m not sure the difference between option One and Two (other than name), but, I think option One will serve the community very well. This seems to fit better since we develop the servers more than code.

Option Three is out of the question. I know sometimes the questions are annoying but I feel it is important that budding pserver developers have a place to go, to ask their questions and potentially get answers.

I had mixed feelings about having the questions and releases together, but I think this will work well. The important part, is the information contained in the threads. If we have Q&A and Releases in the same forum, this will facilitate developers in finding previously answered questions.

I do feel that it is important to keep this board open for advertisements, so if you could add a “Shaiya Private Server Development forum” and maintain “Shaiya Private Server” board that would be excellent.

I absolutely agree with this. And, thank you for supporting our community.

I dont believe splitting forum sections will achieve any tangible result.

i see posts of others effectively claiming persons are Pedofiles without proof and by "hearsay" only.. yet the post stands un-altered and not edited or modified by admins.

what is required is effective moderation.. something this section is definately lacking. if ppl start flaming or getting abusive then mod should crack the wip and do what they supposed to.. Scare ppl into submission...

I vote for all options, it does't take much time adding all 3 extra sub threads into the private server section. The more threads, the easier to browse, and like SafeBett asked about lilprohacker's post, i think you have a good one in your team if you accept him, he has been amazing to the Shaiya community. I vote for lilprohacker ^^.
