However with the modified *.exe and *.xrg we are faced with the invalid version error, until we get an updated *.exe from saweet.

Yes you will need Net Framework 3.5.

So we cant use this hack? Need w8 for new *.exe right?

i got you.

Lets just leave it at this:

you will need a new custom exe and xrg every time the server updates the client, so be patient while they find the offset, and im sure they will upload it once they got it.

New Update = New Line in exe file. Also like Ver 2.0 is the hacked exe and new patched one is like Ver 3.0.. so i think all need to w8 on a little refix here.

@ -MrOfficer-: WB! :)

And.. you're talking about adding a new line in the exe/xrg.. could u add a small (spoilered) tut on what to change for those who bother to learn/do it themselves?

Then u need a porgram that reads and can edit .exe files. and the Reg file is not even needed to be changed. is an file that tells info to the .Exe about last ID used, Last server connected to, What resulution, is just a file for launcher..

Seriously im "Retard" w8 for Saweet..

I just told the reson why it says invalid client version, i dont wanna be a part of killing this game ;)

An exe can be modifyd with OllyDbg&co., thats not the problem here. I'd like to know what to search for (most likely the IP of the server) and what to change (nd why)..

But as you suggested - ill wait for the grandmaster himself :D

Does ur host look like this ?
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" "
# Copyright (c) 1993-2006 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 localhost-9d

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" """""""""""
u can remove the Localhost. but Remember to have the -9d one :)
Also the other IPs might be diffrent from OS to OS i guess
