7950gx2 occed to max > Ati x2900xt

8800gt has best price/performance atm

you will get decent fps in Crysis, res max, high all :)

and cod 4 too :D

yea i hope so.. i wouldnt pay like 300USD for a graphics card, without gettin nice fps on at least "high" in games like crysis etc. -.-

so, yeah.. if there wouldnt be the F**ING delivery time, id be the happiest man on earth :D

Proud owner of a 8600GTS 256MB DDR3! xD

Even the old ATi x1950XT is better than the GeForce 8600GTS... ;).
And the new GFXcards from ATi (HD3850 & HD3870) are somehow even with the GeForce 8800GT, if you compare:

- Price ATi HD3870 = ~200€ - GeForce 8800GT = ~ 230€

- Perfomance The ATi is said to be ~10-15% slower than the 8800GT, but there arent optimized drivers out yet!

- Consumption & Temperature The 8800GT uses 20w more than the HD3870 - temp of the ATi is lower aswell - this gap can be used for OCing the HD3870.

I admit that GeForce is better atm, but ATi is coming back more cool, fast and less noisier.

Nvidia has long had much better driver support. They do run hotter so go cooling is a must. Both card preform great when using high end cards but nvidia cards seem to do better when using low end and mid range cards
