Font edit fix for 4346+

so if i want to change the font back from this ugly one they patched in, can i just make it any font from, say, microsoft word or something? or does it have to be what they give you to use, cuz i put in time new roman and wen i tried to open co it just crashed on me.

It would be very cool, if we could get the font, before that fat font that was fore this one.
If we could get that font back, that would be awesome
(without co crashing lol ^^)

ok so far ive found only 6 fonts that work w/o crashing you. and the fonts are....
Arial 14
SimSun 14
Batang 14
Cambria 14
Consolas 14
Georgia 14
and for thsoe who dont know ware to copy/paste one of these to......
C:\Program Files\Conquer 2.0\ini and paste in the file called Font.

ok so i added 2 more, to my original 4, i started to try every font i had and go down the list, but it takes too long, so theres all the ones i tried that were legable that worked :D

yea, but what was the font that was before the fat font before patch 4346 xD...
Cause that font ruled... This one as wel, but sometimes it's not that clear... :)

Easy instructions on how to fix your conquer font, ill work on a perminant solution soon but this works well for now.. also included is a screen shot.

Unless you code a took that hooks the conquer process thread and you can replace the font live in memory, there will never be a permanent solution.

Well I have what I THINK is a permanent solution to the font fix.. Thanks to a member that I mention in the post in my sig I made a program that changes the courier font in your system so that conquer pulls out the courier font... but its set to a font you specify.. check out my sig and try out my program ;) lots easier than this.

hey,
i tried your conquer.exe file today. doesn't work :/
i placed your file(a compressed file) in CO folder. then i run conquer and nothing happened - just the loading screen and then nothing happened (it was closed after the loading screen, i assume)
and then i decompressed it and then run CO and this is what i got (see picture).

so, any solution to this problem?
can this not be solved anymore because of patch 4347?
i do this because i want to use the old font Ella. if anyone know a way that i can have the old font back, tell me.
