i wouldnt go to the mz unless u have an archer that can kill them fast anyways for the original poster... there arent any tricks that can change the size of the dove as of yet...

Tro + Bot > Archer.

If you hunt yourself = Archer.

well if the actual met bird is higher lvl then the others there should be a way to catch packets of all the lvl monsters in the area and mark the metbird with correct lvl.

They're all the same level now. I dumped their spawn packets and they look identical.

I know this post is kinda old but this might work:
Since TQ just made all it seem to be like all doves are same level there is one (real) dove that got higher level, though i think TQ made it seem like it was same level like the others, so here's my tip: take an archer that can kill the doves in scatter with like 2 hits and then on the first scatter you will se which dove haven't loosed the same amount of life like the other ones, also the real dove use to attack higher than the other ones so you just gotta look^^
