Seeing as people are voicing opinions on this, i would like to.
It makes sense that if this sites rules state a LINKBACK is required to advertise here, then surely that is what should be done. If a moderator points out that the site doesnt quite meet the requirement, then the site should apologise and correct the problem. And not argue the point over the location.
If its hard to see then its not exactly a link back to here, but its a link nonetheless. As for people thinking the esteemed moderator is being to harsh, or creating an injustice, why bother stating so? There is a complaint section for that.
In my humble opinion, this moderator does a very good job, under sometimes extremely difficult circumstances. He does not care whether you like him or not, he does the job he was asked to do, within the rules he has to work with. Give the guy a break and just do what he asks.
