will multi client also stop working!?!?!

how can i ever tg my 26 chars without that>.<

it depends what patch it is. If it is a major update, then it wont work. if its a new server, it can be avoided. They once changed it back from yellow nado, and i didnt have the patch, so no harm done. i just got to keep yellow nado^^

as the patch contains new .dll and a new conquer.exe, you will have to make a new multiclient, as the old one will cease to function

This is a pretty simple edit, generally speaking, and if you don't figure it out yourself, I'm sure someone will post it. (Someone has already, but we can't test it till tomorrow.)

This "simple edit", is it the hex editing method where you change "Engis" to "Engus" or something or like that? Or is there an even simpler method that (so far) has remained known as the "easier way."

The person who's already done it used the Englis edit in the exe file.

I believe there is a much 'easier way" to do it, using one of the .dll files, but it isn't currently aviliable to the masses. Try harrasing Tw3ak, if you're keen on it. :)

i dont recoment by pass cuz the interface will change maybe you'll have some problems login and playing conquer but about cotobo im not shure chokoman has sayed than the packets may be change so...

I'm kind of curious with all the talk who is and where does it say that the bots will no longer work or is it just assumed?

I don't have an in depth understanding of tobo, partner or proxy, but i know that all of them rely on certain files remaining the same. Else they need be updated.

The new patch has several replacements of old files.

itemtype.dat is being replaced. That means that programs which show you if an item is Ref or better won't be able to do that anymore.

Conquer.exe is being replaced, that means most people won't be able to use their multiclients, etc.

well its almost 12:00 here and i havent patchd yet and probably wont just to see what happens .. i mean whats the worst that can happen nothing will work? right,, add the patch and everything will be fine.. lol.. We will see.. i will keep you posted as to what happens... Wish me luck...

I'm fairly sure that the patch isn't supposed to happen until monday maintenence.

multiclient is so easilest

i give it a week before some one pops open the COProxy/QOProxy and the brs and egyptians are back to the same ol crap..

Well, i knew how to make a multiclient, i would make it, but i don't understand anything about hex editing and stuff, english is not my main language so it is sort of hard to read the tutorials, but well i'm busy with them ^^ and im going to help epvp =)
