SOCK...

Yeah I'm guessing it's not going to work just like every other maintanance-related 'tricks' don't.

it dont use cords or anythin like that,

before maint i put the item and a met into the artisan dude, then wait to get dced, then i log back in as soon as i can and i got a socket, however i think that was pure luck, the other socket i made was after 7 mets after maint, so i dunno, works for me some times, other times it doesnt

you need luck with this method (but your chances of obtain socks are greater)... i tell that the char called Curse_Me has obtained 2 socks i one maintenance.... obviuosly he no obtains socks in every main ... but he always have socks for sell (minimun 1 or 2 at week... )

ArkticWolf, if can tell us the old main trick...

Please ppl, if any know more about this method... contribute

PD: Tricks exists... we need found a really good method (this works, only 10 mets... no one cry for loose 10 mets in every main... i think that this is better than spam lots and lots of mets without specific time...)

Korvacs, you said you put a met and item in and wait for dc. But, do you just put it in and let it sit, or put it in and hold the upgrade button till dc?

Anyone bother to try this yet? I Keep missing out on the SM bcuz i got skool.... I Can probably do it some time soon but it wud be helpful if someone tried, btw its only 10 mets :P

Sorry for duble posting but um... i was just looking back at what you guys said and um.... if this increases you chance of getting a socket why not spam more mets than just 10?

i just put them in and leave them, drink my coffee or whatever

For example in Ryee Curse_Me always buys tons of mets... but he only stay 30 mins (or less) trying do socks... maybe why after 1 hour or 30 mins of main... you loose the chance (high chance) of obtain a sock... i suggest that only try with 10 mets (remember... i was loosed 460 + 250 mets spamming without specific time ... my probs come 710/0. But with main method my prob was 7/1... really high... ) If want can loose more mets... (But i think that if you loose 50 mets for example and no socks... better wait next main).

If want loose more than 10 mets... always have 6 scrolls and 10 mets and try the 10 mets...

im sure he got an archer lvl 11x or maybe 12x and hes hunting night an day like 300 mets a day so pls dont be like "omg omg theres a trick"... so 7*300 = 2100 and thats 1-2 sockets.. if ya got any probs with this reply so feel free to post what i said wrong ;D

The 'old' maintanance trick is where you put the item and met into the atrisan in TC close to when the server is going to be pulled down, then wait untill the server comes back up.

When you log back in the artisan dialog will still be there, if you're the first to click ok you should get a socket. But that's long been fixed.

Tombstone The method works with 70 mets (6 scrolls and 10 mets), but only use 10 mets... if want use more, have again 6 scrolls and 10 mets... if you try only with 10 mets maybe no work (but, why you no try ?? and put the results.. if can, contribute)...

And Cotobo never was have a sock options, and i think that new versions too no have... for the moment you can try this method... see other posts like this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] where other ppl have obtained socks with main method... and please contribute, the most noobs only says "WTF, no tricks for socks"... but is no true. With main method if loose, loose 10 mets, and if want no try never more...

PD: if this method works for you remember do a screenshot when gain the sock and post here...
