Does anyone actually know how to save this problem?

I believe its because the computer wouldn't uninstall SQL 2005, i tried multiple times to remove it but after checking it kept coming back, i've done a full system restore so i will be trying again very soon

ok well i got past the pause thing thanks to you, now i need to know where game.exe is, i've done a full search of my h/d and nothing's come up. Maybe i havn't downloaded it?

you joking right? That would be in your Shaiya game folder.

Game.exe is in your client files, in other words the files you download from OS or other pservers. It is separate from your server files.

I figured that was where it was but when i searched for 72.55.177.194 its not in the coding so it won't find it, so ofc i figured i was doing something wrong o.O. What do u suggest then?

Didn't realize sunder beat me to it lol. But the ip address changes if you use official. You can find the addresses if you type "gameexit" without the quotation marks in your search and scroll up.

You don't have connection with database at all. It's caused either by ... invalid user set in MSSQL, the user 'Shaiya' does not exist, RPC is turned off, some of the protocols are turned off, IP 127.0.0.1 is turned ON but not Enabled, last thing might be wrong password or user name in MSSQL.

the ip your looking to change is just before 210.242.235.66 so search for that.

on a side note, I found that there may be a few changes needed in both the database and the NCash scripts, so make sure you run those scripts in a query window to see if there are any errors.

you may also need to do the Cash shop fix.

Ok so i've bypassed all my pervious problems but heres my new one >.> i'm slowly but surely getting this thing up and running lol.

please try to be as clear with your answers as possible because i'm completely lost in gaming terms lol.

Ok so i changed my HxD ip to 127.0.0.1 and to my Hamachi IP address but i seem to get this same problem.
1) Go in and log in with admin password admin123
2) Select server "game - smooth"
3) Select faction - light
4) Character create elf - female - archer - HM
5) Game start - loads for a mili second - "Game Data Load Error"

The funny thing is that all of the login and stuff is EP4 but i havn't actually attached the EP4 databases of prof's guide. So i think i need to get my hands on an EP3 version of game.exe because even if i don't update the aeria games version it still gives me this version. It may also be the files in the aeria games folder seems as they're going to EP5 currently. Another possibility that i've been playing with is that its trying to connect to aeria games's version because the updater (i have to run the updater cos i'm on windows 7) shows the recent announcements by aeria games. But i'm completely stuck lol.
