Idea: The Mentor Thread

Well, ether way... I'm up for this. I request a mentor. :3

i guess ill do it to. i cant give it 24/7 help like most people. but when im available ill help.

See, if people are willing to help, this could work out.

And the point of a mentor isn't to offer free mods, its just to help the adoptee learn how to mod, and answer a few of their questions.

I would request a Mentor also. Currently my modding skills are limited to using pre-made pmg mods and editing the item db file/maps. I can use macros programs but do not understand the language or what to search for in a string in Olly or how to correcly change it. I normally use tiara and nogi as my mini-bypasses. My goal would be to develope my own bypass and mods as well as perhaps creating something useful. not sure what that would be yet.

In the past I have berated this community for its hostile enviroment thats not friendly to those of us who have no knowledge. This would be a step in the right direction.

Suggest making this a more formal stickied post perhaps with rules and steps on how to get a mentor.

I'm just making the mentor pick out adoptee's he/she wants so the mentor doesn't get flooded with requests :V

Ok, that's understandable.
