Yes for some Accounts it still works!
But it depends on the account.
My accounts don't have that bug, but friend of me has Char LvL.95+ and never has hit a mob since lvl 52 (that was where he discovered that he had that awesome bug^^)
So you can create account after account and hope that one time, a Char you create on the new accounts get the bug too, but i think there is no way to force that bug to occur :<
