Mabi section may be small but it's the only reason I even come to these forums. I know not of elitepvpers outside the mabi section.

that's a way a lot of the sections are... they know nothing of us or our games and we no nothing of them or their games

Am I the only one who figures that having someone outside of the modding community moderate this forum is a good thing? At least this mod isn't going to try to abuse his position by spreading keyloggers and trying to take down rival modding sites. He's had a history of moderating forums so it's a safe assumption that he isn't going to screw you all like Dark Raccoon did.

So what are you guys complaining about? You guys already had your chance at a moderator within the community. Dark Raccoon played you guys like chumps and turned you all against Kevsprk.

I'm somewhat disappointed in bishop's reaction. It seems like she gave up running for mod.

Idc about the situation... kinda neutral.. It's nice to have someone lock threads and infract people who don't follow the rules and I might go apply for guardian because he did make a good point. We may not be mods now but we can still help out and be somewhat closer to that.

Check, you're not the only one. To be honest I am glad we now have a mod who is not involved in the game and has a background in moderating other forums. We need a mod who is unbiased and will do their job (moderate the forum, not contribute/develop mods). A mabinogi-playing mod might have conflicting interests influenced by "friends" or drama in the community (both mabinogi and the modding communities). People say "(so and so) will never backstab us" but shit can happen and has happened.

Meh, I'm unbiased on this matter. At least we have a moderator that can lock/sticky requested threads.

Honestly, I kinda saw this coming, I honestly didn't think Epvp would have another person within the section Moderate, seeing as the Kev gave up and DR.. well we all know the story.

People "Liking" someone does not make a moderator. Me? I didn't apply because anyone liked me, or that I did anything for this forum, I applied for 2 reasons.
1. We needed a Mod

This section really doesn't need to exist, honestly it doesn't. I want you to go back through all the "Mods" and "Hacks" on this section and tell me if any of them were useful at all? I

I myself preferred Lemu.faucet. Why? Because it was simple, we did GFX and other Data folder related mods, we didn't explore into anything .dll editing beyond the basic IJL. Sure a few of us got a hold of TwinTails, but guess what? We had a moderator who cared about things that were beyond basic mods, so we didn't release it, we kept it to ourselves and the community rolled on, then.. the site was shut down, I believe it was because the site went from being almost only me with my small tolerances with people who didn't read the rules, so I would flame. To every post being written was either 1. Request of things that had been requests multiple times. 2. Spam. or 3. A flame war. I will admit I did involve myself in some flame wars, but only to make a point. When JinsuNogi showed up that was okay, until someone told everyone and their brother it could enable "God Mode" or "Zombie Mode" whatever you want to call it, it turned the Arena into something impossible to be in, or Open PvP impossible to do. What does that sound like? I know, the leak of the DLL mod.

Look at this section, it went from serious people wanting to figure out how to "Hack" Mabinogi till.. People told everyone and their brother about this section, now it is full of either 1. Requests that can't be fulfilled/have been asked multiple times 2. Spam or 3. Flame wars. I believe it's probably time to close this section down and move on. It's not worth the server space.

Honestly think about this section.
Fixed the Ijl - One of the only things helpful
DR's Bots - Another thing that was helpful
Ranged dll Mod - A dumb fucker leaked it, pointed me as the person who did it and in turn got it patched.
Elf Range Edit - "Leaked" if I had known Iesouk did it first, I would of never released it as mine.
DR's "Bypass" - Not even made for Mabinogi, it was stolen from a bypass for S4 League and he renamed it.
DR Himself - We had someone who applied for mod, who was very very active and seemed like he wanted to help.. He was then exposed as a 1. A silly kid who thought he could hide who he was 2. A pedophile 3. A computer "Hacker" (Not a very good one) and 4. Someone who spread Keyloggers and Malware (Claims, I've yet to see proof of this) to and through this forum. (I wasn't active with DR was in control, I rarely went to this site.)

I'm sure Checkbox will come up with something to say to me on this, I await your response. It's always funny to read what you have to say.

I took this place more seriously before lemu died and the community looked else where to spam their requests.
