Bring back mod queue system or stay like this?

I vote for mod que, although it may be a bit annoying for you, but I think it would be far less annoying then having 10x people posting links left and right, and 25x people crying about those links being virus or keyloggers and their accounts getting hacked. Granted, whos to say your method of checking is any different then our own, but I'd say majority are too lazy to properly, and thoroughly check the files they download from here to be able to tell the difference between a false positive and a real problem

Well, make a rule with a link to a good working online scanner after every download link u post... and a "use on your own risk" text. and if the tool gets popular, mods could check it out.. or a member... :D

Mod Queue. Noobs keep on creating new accounts on posting fake bots which have viruses, then they get hacked, and blame it on the moderators for not scanning it

Stay like this, It's the best system and Elitepvpers isnt responsible for the links! Sounds good eyyy? =)

im new here, but the mod queue system sounds good

I honestly have to admit , that i dont like both of them.
I would prefer the mod queue system, if there were more mods for this section(they are needed anyways).
But since there aren't many active mods in the silkroad section, i am voting for the direct method.
It's quite hard to explain my point of view, since there are many aspects counting into it.
So Ima setup a new thing to vote for:
*Employ more mods( 4+) and get back the other system. If Mod-Employing fails keep the one right now.

Sometimes a thread is kept unapproved for days, sometimes there were cases of unapproved threads for 10 days due to the nature of them - some fies are hard to be proven clean. But this all ends up in a safety section with no threads containing malware.
The mod queue was active since the beginning of 2008 till 10th april 2010.
Of course... mod queue . But without ban ... just deleting them if they are proved as harmful files. You know what I am talking about Invincible. :(

But its your decision to download it, if you find it suspicous don't download it. I think we should keep it the way it is at the moment.

Nice. A lot of viruses were posted in the last few days. Hope this will diminish their number. Hope that there will be not so bad punishments like an Instant ban. I guess that an Warning/Infraction is ENOUGH. After 2-3-4 threads full with viruses, I guess that instant ban will be needed.

This are just my ideas.

People who posts viruses to steal / ruin for other people deserves an permanent IP Bann, Not an infraction...

Why dont you guys see if you can make a sort of player mod? Not like a guardian that deals with rule infractions and things like that, but a person who has the power to okay threads. Youd have to get someone you can trust of course with the power and is very active. But if you did this it would be less hassle for you mods and the mod system could still be in place?
