Why do you cheat?

Even if you never cheated in your life and played a game legitly, your experience will be ruined by cheaters. You end up quitting the game because you think its a skill gap.

Honestly cheating in a game and being closet about it is what keeps a game alive. Most cheaters will play with their friends and the friends wouldnt know-- everyone keeps coming back to play.

All of you are missing the fact you are addicted to the dopamine rush it gives you. It feels good and keeps you entertained. Its like hitting your vape everytime you kill someone

I hope the smarter not harder people in here a joking

Its like playing on super easy mode, theres no challenge whatsoever.
And on top of that, you're risking getting banned, losing money in the process - not to mention killing the game, since you make legit players lose interest.

The excitement of Tarkov comes from the challenge, and difficulty.

So why do you do it?

I've cheated in many games, and every single time as soon as I did it, the game lost all excitement, guess i just want to understand - is it a power trip thing, or do you do it to troll, or do you want people to rage quit the game?
Alot of Cheaters for Tarkov end up selling their accounts to make money because there is a huge market for Max Trader Accounts and Kappa Accounts. Other just always cheated or got annoyed of getting cheated on.

The game is a great game to cheat on, with many aspects that enable cheaters. Its design masks it well. The economy encourages it too and creates the motivation for RMTers. The standard edition is not a game that devs want or want to play. They want to create a problem and sell the solution.

I think that basically Nikitas gameplay loop is set up to generate a 'state of discomfort'. This state is not fun or exciting, its frustrating and boring. You can reach it by being killed by cheaters, among other ways.

Whenever someone is placed in such a state, they start looking for a way out, naturally. What Nikita wants to do is channel this urge into supporting his ecosystem. He wants you to cheat, thus becoming one of the highest class of whales. He wants you to upgrade your version. He wants you to buy items from RMTers, thus feeding his economy. He wants you to go get mad about cheaters on forums, just another way of feeding the whales while spreading the state of discomfort.

The game is designed this way to make people avoid the uncomfortable feelings that the game creates. If that sounds unhealthy, it is. Its an addiction to a toxic relationship with a fat russian scammer. Welcome to Tarkov.

see me personally, i love to have power over others. aswell as trolling them. woods is probably the most fun map for that. especially grinding quests like kappa on a standard account just not worth ever to do.
