Oryum - Rediscover the Modern Classic | Beginner Event 04.02.2025

Hey there,

i'm actually one of the few Beta testers that had the chance to play and test the server early and i want to say a few words for you guys.

Firstly, the amount of work that has gone into making the masterpiece is just out of this world. Countless hours of coding and designing just to make a friendly environment so that we can create a big community.
The pure amount of professionalism that the whole team, especially Eldor and Apranax and Plechito has shows, with big and elaborated responses each time there was a question or a issue, it's just mind boggling, i'm here, in the metin2 scene since 2009 and the only servers that amazed me are Schyck's Azyrah and Oryum.
It has quite a big potential to become something WAY greater, especially considering with how much love and dedication everything has carefully crafted and put togheter.
Is everything perfect? Fuck no, nothing is , but with time and passion, it has a chance to become something that will make history in the metin2 scene.

English is not my native language so i do indeed apologise for gramatical errors.

In my own point of view, i do put indeed my fate in this guys and i do urge you guys to give it a shot. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.

Hab die Beta gespielt und muss sagen, dass Oryum sich zu einem großen Server entwickeln könnte. Hinter dem Server stehen Leute die was drauf haben und auch auf die Community hören. Die Beta läuft seit ca. einer Woche und es wurden schon einige Vorschläge umgesetzt. Vieles wird sich wahrscheinlich nach dem Start einpendeln, wenn die Masse an Spielern erstmal im Game ist.

Das Grundkonzept ist sehr Oldschool gehalten, viele Quests und ein nicht zu schneller Progress. Was mir aber nicht gefällt sind die Änderungen der ganzen Maps, was mir einen kleinen Newschool Vibe gibt, aber so etwas ist Geschmackssache.

Bin gespannt wie der Itemshop aussehen wird. Das ist nämlich ein großer Punkt für die meisten Spieler.

I’m pleased to share my experience and opinion about the Oryum beta, an adventure I’ve been fortunate and privileged to be a part of.

I say fortunate because all my expectations have been far exceeded. From the beginning, I approached this experience both as a beta tester and as a casual player, and here is my conclusion:

The first thing you notice when entering the server is the immense effort, dedication, professionalism, and enthusiasm behind this amazing project. The support from the administrative team is simply exceptional: clear explanations, quick responses, and effective solutions to any small issues that arise. It’s truly impressive! When you make a suggestion, they don’t just listen to you; they take your opinions seriously and work to find a balance that benefits everyone.

The second thing that stands out is that we finally have a server that is truly made by and for the players. Every detail, from drops to rewards and missions, has been carefully thought through. Subtle changes and big innovations—whether in maps, bosses, or even bonuses (yes, they’ve implemented new bonuses for equipment!)—demonstrate a level of detail you don’t often find.

On top of that, I have to highlight the player community I’ve encountered here: people willing to help, answer questions, share advice, run tests, and even crack bad jokes, haha. At last, a server with real, mature people who are excited to enjoy this wonderful game together. And that place is Oryum.

I’ve tried to find something negative, but honestly, I only have positive things to say. If anything, the only “downside” is that the server isn’t open yet… but the 20th of December is just around the corner! I’ll be waiting for you all there.

To wrap up, I’d like to express my gratitude to all the beta testers involved, to Yacht for his charisma and support of content creators, to Apranax and Eldor for their professionalism and efficiency, and, of course, to Plechito, whose work we all know and appreciate. They form an extraordinary team. I know there are more people working behind the scenes, so I’d like to send them my regards as well, because none of this would be possible without them.

My best wishes for everything to go as planned. Best of luck with Oryum, here’s to its longevity, and I’m grateful to have crossed paths with all of you!

The previews they post everyday on the discord server really impress me, definitely a lot of work and love went into this.

Additionally, the staff is amazing, I have had 0 bad interactions with them so far, everyone is polite, helpful, and professional.

Also ich muss sagen... dafür, dass es ein Oldschool ist und er im Dezember on kommt, könnte man MEINEN es ist cashgrab.

Als ich die Präsentation durch bin.. durfte ich aber feststellen, das echt viel gut angepasst wurde (hab die Beta nicht gespielt).

Das soviel relativ unnötige Alchi Bonis da sind naja..
Das PvP-Alchi aber bspw. auf 2 Bestimmte Alchis beschränkt wurde super.

Die Dungeon Timer und Bio Timer (gerade den Ork-Tempel und die Anfangs Bios) finde ich aber bisschen zu hoch angesetzt mmn. (kann aber auch sein, dass ich einfach nichts mehr gewohnt bin)

Sonst finde ich das VIP Zeug bisschen "fragwürdig" aber man ist ja nicht darauf angewiesen, wenn man entspannt spielen will.

Overall sieht das ganze echt gut aus, wenn man überlegt was für Trash aktuell alles online kommt/in den letzten Wochen online kam.

Hoffe echt der Server wird was, Freu mich darauf!
