Hi, what do you mean? So I'd have to create my own punish counter for a modern luke, for example?Quote:
a word of caution: it works, but included in the package are only combos / moves for one character (gief), every other character has to be configured in ahk on your own, which equals making and tweaking your own macro from (almost) scratch
yes, and youd have to understand how to use ahk (macro scripting), spend a not insignificant amount of time tweaking the timings, etc. honestly, i find it a bit misleading to include the "updated for XYZ!" in the topic, since (i assume) there was nothing to update: the package does not include combos for any of the new characters, neither some of those that are even shown in the first post, as in, manonQuote:

You don't have to understand how to code. You read the documentation and follow the notes in the code, that tell you what to change. The main post also clearly states you have to add your own auto combos. The post also never said: "Updated for Mai". It said: "Up-to-date with Mai patch" meaning it works on the current patch.Quote:

fwiw: i purchased the macros, and after setting up them up for one of my characters, was so fed up with how much fuckery there is, that i never used them again
i never said you need to know how to code, i said you need to know how to use ahk, and yeah, you absolutely do. the "add your own combos" thing isnt just a lil config tweak, it means editing four separate files, two for each side. no dynamic handling, no automagic mirroringQuote:

You failed to read, made a wrong purchase, got frustrated, were dramatic in my private messages and left a negative review, while also saying you don't want a refund. Next time just ask for a refund instead of saying: "im going to kill myself".
No, you don't have to know how to use AHK. You just have to read the documentation and follow what the notes say.Quote:

and no, when i reached out, there was nothing in the post about needing to set up per-character combos manually. if the lil disclaimer you just stealth-edited in had actually been there, pintobean87 probs wouldnt have followed up on my post asking the exact same thing
The post says and always has said this. You just failed to read.Quote:
One button combos
Add your own auto combos
You suggested I added clarification, and now it's being framed as: "stealth-editing" and "didn't do it until after all this". All you had to do was ask for a refund.Quote:
plus, during our exchange (which was like… five messages max?), i even suggested you add that clarification to your thread. you said "noted", and then didnt do it until after all this. also, calling me "dramatic" is kinda funny considering how hard youre going in over a bad review, lol
ok, but… "read the documentation and follow the notes" is using ahk. like, youre still asking people to open scripts and manually edit files. saying you dont need to know how to use ahk is just semantic deflection, the process isnt user-friendly, and thats the point i was making. as for "add your own auto combos": that phrase alone doesnt explain that youll be setting up mirrored inputs manually across multiple files per side, its vague, and the fact that others needed clarification too kinda proves thatQuote:

You don't have to know how to use AHK. AHK is a scripting language, which means coding. You don't have to code, you just have to read and follow instructions. Did you have to learn how to code to set this up? No. I did the coding, and all you have to do is edit a template.Quote:

Okay, I understand and will continue working on improving that. The current development build uses two files, instead of four. And the documentation is being updated as necessary to streamline the user experience.Quote:

You're right. There's a quick way to mirror inputs, but I've failed to include that into the documentation. I will add it tomorrow. I apologize for that.Quote:

Absolutely, but none of my other customers have complained, and I need feedback to improve the user experience.Quote:

You dropped the review an hour after our conversation. You didn't give me time to update the main post. I've added a disclaimer based on your feedback.Quote:
and, i said "stealth-edit" because you didnt clarify it back when i brought it up, you said "noted" and left the post unchanged until the negative review dropped. pretending like that disclaimer was always perfectly clear doesnt track with the timeline
Alright, thanks for the feedback.Quote:
lastly, the refund thing is irrelevant, i didnt want a refund, and still dont. i left a review based on my experience
