This converter is NOW capable of converting the CPs to Silvers and back on ANY CO server. Screenshot is provided below for your viewing pleasure...

Let me know what you think about this little contribution. (And for all feedback received, thank you. :) I really appreciate it.)

Before I forget, this program was made using C# 2008E, so please ensure that you have .Net Framework installed on your PC.

Note: This program converts to the nearest Silver and the nearest CP.

Thank you.

Changes:

- Persons can now enter the cost of DBs on the server they reside to get
the conversion rate for the server.
Req: Name change to CP/Money Calculator or something like that
The title will make people think it realyl converts the money in cps or the other way around.

Nice done though

It dont wanna open:S

It's kinda easy to do without though:

(x/215)*y=z

x = Amount of cps
y = Price of dbs
z = Total cost in silver

x=(z*215)/y

x = Total amount of cps
y = Price of DBs
z = Amount of silver

Those 2 equations should do the trick if this program don't work for you guys.

Regarding it not opening, you should ensure that you installed the .Net framework on your computer. I tested the program countless times on various computers with the .Net framework on it and it worked. Ensure that the framework is above 2.0 (recommended 3.0 and above)

I admire the fact that you posted a formula on here, but let me just say this... If one is not mathematically inclined, then one will find it rather difficult to work with the equation used, and so I decided to create the program for the reason that some folks might NOT want to compute it mentally. Sure, it is easy for those who are into mathematics, but you must remember that not everyone IS into such a subject... :) Your attempt is a good one.

Note 2: Just to clear up any misconception. The converter is basically a calculator in all respects. It has no attachment to the CO Client, nor the server. The results produced are for you to enter as shown into your merchant's CP or Silver slot when selling items. Please don't think that it is going to do miracles... The only "miracle" is that it is saving you having to wonder how much a particular item sold in CPs costs in Silvers.

Thank you.

What is stupid to you, isn't stupid to someone else. ^_^ Besides, I think it's a great tool to use. Cutting out the middle-man was my goal, and so I've done exactly that. :)

It works. I tested it countless times to ensure that it is capable of doing what it is supposed to. If you have any trouble using it, let me know. I made a few modifications to it. :)

Good job! Simple, but it works. And I'm 90% sure having a "current exchange rate" is next to impossible.

This application is a glorified calculator - but its simple, fast, and it works! +k

Trying to make my own for fun..hav'n issues.. You used this math right:

20,000,000(gold) / 215(cp) = exchange rate

Gold = Cps * exchange rate

Cps = Gold / exchange rate

The problem is: When I type 1($), it gives me the same thing as if I type 100,000($), how did you do it?

EDIT: I think I found it, my exchange rate is an integer (no decimals allowed)! :D

Don't forget that some people know how to reflect code. I reflected it just to now how you did it exactly :)

It's a very nice program and mite come in handy +k
