I had different test results. For example I got a new laptop from the store, used PO on it, got plenty of high 15+ kill games on a brand new account verified with sms service, and never got DC/SB.Quote:
I've tried using an aged account with MW purchased, and no difference. One of my IRL friends (legit player) made an alt account and he got DC'd and SB'd first game on at 13~ kills, he can still play on his main with no issues. So it looks like you're pretty much guaranteed a shadowban on any account that has no history with your hardware profile unless you don't exceed 12 kills.
So that caused me to believe that something else was going on, for example with spoofers/other cheats that are being used.
But with your test results (and some others) I may redo the test. I returned the laptop for a refund but I can always do VM.
I could believe either option (spoofers/cheats or they just SB any new player who is good). They don't care about SBing innocent players... they do it all the time. There is no real risk because it will lift. No legit player can really make a big fuss because it auto resolves in 7 days. I think these teamRicochet people really believe that no FPS player will be able to make a new COD account and get 10+ kills? As if FPS skills don't transfer between games... they are so out of touch with reality. The youngest teamRicochet member must be 50.
