I was asking in a Discord group if someone knows a private unlocker seller.

A guy messages me that he knows another guy with a private unlocker. (I don't know either of them)

He gives me info of the other guy and I contact him.

That's about it. We talked about price/payment method.

If you give a name, some of us may be able to identify whether or not he is known or respected in the scene.

I kinda want to respect his privacy. He could be legit, and in that case he doesn't deserve to be spammed.

Only because I'm sceptic about the legitimacy of the product, I don't want to ruin someones days. :(

Any time a gap opens up in the market after a major provider goes down expect opportunistic scams to occur. I would be particularly skeptical at a time like this and only send money you can absolutely afford to lose if the seller is not a trusted member of a well known community.

yea because a guy writing to you (you being a total stranger to him) in a random discord will obviously very much care about his discord identity remaining private. You might as well ask what the meaning of life is. No one knows if it is a scam, but most likely you will get fked (99.7% likelihood is my guess after doing the math)
