I've been using Baneto since end of July, and here is my honest review.
First, some context on what I did since I started using this :
- grinded some chars to 60 on alliance and horde side (had a 12h 1-20 char with just some white vendor fiery weapons and no gear).
- skilled both herbalism and mining on alliance & horde characters to 300
- created my own gathering profiles and farmed for gold on a high pop realm (gathering through herbalism, mining and fishing)
- tried the dungeon mode
First, the
pros :
- The bot has improved a lot since I first used it and Bambo is super fast to fix things if you discover something wrong with its behavior. This is a huge plus as the more people report things, the better the bot runs for everyone.
- Once you have identified a good profile route, you can let your bot run full AFK and it'll level up really smoothly. You can set up vendor path so that the bot safely goes back to town to repair / sell, auto bind to an inkeeper, and a lot more quality of life things.
- No setup required to run it. Just select your first profile and hit start and it'll work. (of course you can customize a lot of settings to increase your botting efficiency, but the default will run fine)
- The community is really active and people will help you customizing some settings so that it runs better for your specific case.
- The free profile are good, I feel that they are sometimes even better than some paid profiles and they'll do the job just fine to level to 60.
- The profile creation has an in-game GUI and is easy to do even for the first time. Of course you'll often go back to your profiles to optimize them even more, but they'll work the first time you create them.
Neutral :
- The dungeon mode was still in early beta when I tested it, so it was still a bit clunky and should have improved since then.
- The talent points aren't automated. I could have put this in "cons" but it doesn't bother me to spend 10 seconds everyday to assign them so not sure it'll really bother people.
Cons :
- Baneto is still missing the dungeons farming profiles. This is something planned, as it is the next thing to come after the dungeon mode, but not yet supported at the moment.
As you can guess I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, and had quite a difficult time finding negative points to the Bot.
It's improving
extremely fast for a "new player" and I already feel like it has a really wide range of features.
For people still sceptical, just check the trial (you can have a trial on Baneto AND Luabox to test the whole thing for free) and ask questions to some users on the discord.
