Are the delays SE put into the game for claiming variable? Sometimes i can claim with a 1800ms delay, other times even a 2000ms delay is interupted by the "claim protection window" (or whatever you like to call it). What can explain this? The only thing i can guess is that either the required claim delay is not constant (maybe it varyies between 2 and 3 seconds) or maybe my lag is variable to that degree. Any ideas?

from wat i can tell by camping without botting since the delay was introduced the delay is random between 1-3 sec's might not be intensinal just lag but there regardless its not very effective if u ask me just makes it easyer to get in pos to claim it with a bot if nothing eles for thows wide range and heavly camped mobs u cant use the warping to mob for fear of getting cuaht on SE did us a favor lets us get into pos to claim and still leaves us with a timing advantage however slight it is but its enough most the time^^

Is there a way to use this info to get FFAssist to work again?

What the hell is it with this dumb zoning issue? When you use Fleetool, you sometimes can't zone anymore.. I tried unloading Namechanger, quitting Fleetool. It's really annoying!

The game sets a minimum time limit for the traversal of a zone. If you took a chocobo across a zone by the shortest route possible that would be the fastest a legit player could go across. (Unless some combonation of flee and makazura and what not could be faster). So SE knows about the Flee hack, they cannot stop it apparently. But what they can do is figure out the shortest posible time it takes to cross a zone and then impose a restriction on how much time passes between zoning. Run across a zone with flee, you zone out fine. Run with Hyperspeed and you wont. Zone in, sit around for 5 minutes, then hyperflee to the zone. You zone out fine. It is just a tool by SE to stop the hack. Apparently they cannot stop it directly becuase of nuances of the programing.

From What I am told, involving the Timer, SE could indeed make it so the one could not use the flee tool, but in doing so they would crash the servers. The way it is set up is by lag counts and position movements per lag, and they fleetool jsut sends fake signals so you move wicked fast. Now they could stop that by not taking lag counts but rather actual scope of it all, but that would lag everything so bad (since there is so many ppl) that jeuno alone would crash each server.

-addition- If you want a better explaination, search for my EXP post in FFXI Main (I think.) Someone does a god job at explaining it.

After today's update, targeting no longer works. I can see enemies on NPC. Mrargus triggers. No target.
