You are probably not using MSSQL 2014.

i have 2 sql one is sql 2008 r2 , and the one is sql 2014

i just only upgrade the sql 2008 r2 to 2014

Uninstall everything related to sql 2008.
And then reinstall SQL Management Studio and SQL Express 2014.

There is no source. So u didnt need a compiler. But for information, i use Visual Studio 2019 Enterprise with latest update.
