I'm not defending the server, I'm pointing out how you're being inconsistent with your points. At first, you're saying it was better to take a picture of Flaris and now you're saying something completely different. Also, if you check what others wrote, everyone kinda pointed out the same.

I'm not insulted by your opinion, I'm just amazed by how you define the term active and, to be honest, I can't believe people can't just google what the word active means.

Lastly, we're both commenting on a flyff-related thread. Should we both grow up?

Ignite your money

in the latest patch "Surprise Ignite Boxes" were released. These boxes contain several items with certain odds such as:

Egg Hatcher ~30%
Scroll of Blessing ~30%
Scroll of Model Change ~3%
Scroll of Model Change Remove ~3%
Premium 6hours ~5%
Premium 24Hours ~5%
Scroll of Ress ~5%
Bead Slot Key ~5%
Ultra Shout ~1%

Anarchy Buffs ~12%:
Boost of Strength ~2%
Ignite Cake ~2%
Advanced Cosmic Multiplier ~2%
Evolving Pets ~2%
Ultra Collector ~2%
Loot Charm ~2%



These %-numbers are estimations out of ~ 800 opened boxes which did not contain a single 15 stat pet. One loot box does cost 100 Ignite Points which is equal to around 10mio ingame. 60% percent of the time boxes drop near to nothing containing an Egg Hatcher or Scroll of Blessing. Looking at the remaining drops there is no big stuff that would avarage this loss out. So on the long run you lose a big part of your donations. In conclusion you either get the cs pet or go home with nothing. This said players should expect a fair droprate for the cs pets when donating their money to the server. Yet Ignite Flyff choose to make these rates close to impossible - not going hand in hand with those who support them.



After people did complain and ask about the droprate of the cs pets Blouflash replied:

He also claims that not getting the cs pet isn't leaving you with a big loss:

Remember that a bead slot key and model change scroll is very rare to get and is worth 200 dps.

When confronting him with the question why they decided to not publish the rates for getting the cs pet Blouflash did not reply (and banned me from discord seconds later). The concept of loot boxes is criticised in many countrys such as china ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]). They issued a law that forces games that offer loot boxes to reveal the odds of their drops. Ignite Flyff took their chance to copy this controversial method of using loot boxes without revealing it's odds while being aware that people probably expect a ~ 2-5% chance to get the cs pet. The actual odds for the cs pet were put on a way lower scale so that people have to buy a huge amount of boxes to either make their money worth it by getting a pet or make a big loss when they dont get it.

It's obvious they did not publish the droprate of the cs pet because nobody would buy their loot boxes when players would see the odds in advance. Hiding them leaves players in a situation to either buy more and more until they get it or stop buying and accepting their big loss. I'd suggest to refund donations that were spend on these boxes.

Well it sounds like somebody is forcing you to donate.

What are Donations?
Donations are given without return consideration.

So in the end it's pure generosity of private servers that they give any items in return at all.
(Although you are expecting it because every server does it - but it is not your right to expect it)

I don't want to defend Loot boxes I hate that you started seeing them across all private Server "stores". They are cash cows, no doubt about that. And admins would be stupid to make it (statistically) easier/cheaper getting cs pets through boxes than buying them straight away. (But theoretically you have the chance to get it with the first box, right? That's the thrill)

But please reconsider the word "donation" again and read your post one more time.
According to your post you would close all Casinos as well.

In fact, a transaction where one side invests real money and the other side returns ANYTHING, be it real, virtual goods or services, is no longer considered a donation in certain countries.

This is why when "donating" via PayPal, theres Customer Protection.

It's not the genorosity of private servers, it's a Shop you purchase virtual goods from. Doesn't matter if it's for a virtual currency which is paid with real money or with real money directly.

Back to the topic you replied to:
Even if there are verdicts to make game publishers obliged to make their percentages on loot boxes public or even remove loot boxes at all, consider that private servers are not affected by this for different reasons.

It's astonishing that everyone feels the need to call out server owners for each of their actions.

So if you're in a casino and you lose when playing Roulette, do you request a refund because there's no open information about your odds of winning right at the table?
It's RNG on both occasions, you're gambling. Please don't make absurd requests, gambling with boxes was a thing for like forever in Flyff, even retail never published any odds or refunded because someone was salty.

From my understanding you don't buy virtual items on most private servers (unlike on webzen) when comparing the ToS. The professional servers i looked at had paragraphs like they don't refund any donations - they dont define what virtual goods are and that they sell those like webzen does.

You can't say I am selling you bread for no money while I am donating it to you. The legal basis is a whole different one.

Gonna play the server I always loved it there.

Server is nice.
Especially for player with a low amount of time.

Who cant stay online 24/7 due to work or stuff.

A quick update on whats going would be nice.
While there were patches daily last week, you were really inactive the past days, even though very important hotfixes and updates are needed right now..

A lot of daily adjustments and if there's no patch for 3 days, you call it "very inactive". Maybe think of it as "concentraded working on how stuff is done right, so it fixes the problem and not the symptoms"?

Although fixes are needed, they have be good fixes and tackle the issue at its root. Just my two cents.

What he is meaning with inactive is the presence they dont show at discord before they would write sometimes but since 3 Days ago they somehow vanished where i question myself if admins have died they dont show any presence in discord.

Same argument tbh, working on solutions can be rough, also I'm sure they still have a personal life to take care of. Combine those and you have "inactivity"

Dont we all know this feelig of a Hard week when you decide to relax for a few days? Sometimed you got to free your mind to continue coding on systems. Specially in flyff you can easily get headache for days.

Just chill they prolly gonna pop back up soon, even tho as a con to say: they couldve atleast leave a Note on their discord i guess

New level 80M dungeons:
