Any new servers?

I agree with Tooperi and miidgee,

Most EO games consist of getting EPs and sit there the whole time in market and compose. If there was a decent classic type server, I'd play it.

i could make one but there is less ppl gonna play old classic. almost none.

Kayy, you should do it, myself and many others still enjoy the older engine. New engine is nice looking and all but unreliable.

idk which db should i use anyway. the only default to standard version is revo one. everything is preserved well and less untouched last time i heard. i love the way of old eo back then. no overpowered +255, elements, pet and gears.
Standard low ep, balanced market, and everyone go for bosses, war, hunt for gears.
with slight changes, maybe with some improvement either revo or mannequin db, i could get them for better gameplay. where everyone will get equal stuff from quests/war/event/ etc. free to play and not pay to win.
but then, the last time i work on my pserver, i never get a chance to use revo, pretty much wasting my time working on custom chinese db.
if any1 ever worked on revo stuff, pls let me know if theyre really standard version of old classic. maybe i'll do my own input for it sometime later.

I'm very interesting in classic. Feel in love with classic as that was what I begin with. Every time I find a decent classic server, there is no one. I'd play for months with no server maintenance and it would remain dead. If only most people who say that they want to play classic would stay for a long time and not for just a week.

Classic is really nice, but just for nostalgic reasons for me

so here it is

just keep in mind , its a multi database setup with enhanched security

and then you need 2 more files , i think it was /demonpower.exe and /1015.exe for the full client ( no links , be smart :D )
it was those days that i was making a small client ( only 5mb big ) and use the patch system to resume download/install the full client ( 700mb big )

it even comes with his own website template ( or atleast the real old one :P )

if you put this server online, you can also contact me for a vps server
happy to sponsor it if you put a classic server online and want to get it working

No mysql database included?

It is included. But it’s serperated I think in the lowrate that there is the database
Or in one of the other folders ( probably in w:/usr/local/bin/mysql/ folder ). As this system also use a custom apache/mysql system ( create a new disk called W and mount as in Linux )

Its so long ago that I looked at the files. I only know that I split the server in 3 differend connections to keep the dp serperated from the 2 servers and let them both run on same database ( lo/hi)

Family war and legion war is not disabled. Just rewritten to fix the bugs it contains

Everyone was asking for a classic server so i made one and its up and running but none plays are server Classic-EO. If we don't get any players then i will shut it down no piont in running it if no one plays on it .
