yea i prefer to use a trojan for co partner....cause once you kill something ur drop is right next to it..instead of getting stuck between like 5 items and goin back and forth and back and forth......

Best hunting class is Trojan or Warrior, but Trojan is better because of slightly faster speed.
- Archers need to worry about arrows, therefore you can't leave it hunting overnight, as arrows will run out in approximately an hour or two
- Fire Taos need to hunt at monsters that's around 30-40 levels below your character to take 1 dmg, unless you have really good armour; the lower the monster level, the less chance to drop gems (confirmed) and good items (unconfirmed); additionally, to hunt with a fire tao you'll need a good mana BS, which is another expense
Therefore, the best class to hunt with is Trojan or Warrior since you don't need special equipment and can hunt at monsters similar to your level.

Hmm, I definately agree with the less gem drops from lower level mobs, but I don't nessecarily agree with the less quality items dropped.

I'm running 5 of my 10 farmers right now, all 10 of them are trojan or warrior.

One farms around robins/appiritions, he brings in 1 super a week (roughly) an elite or two every 24 hours, and the occaisonal +1. One farms around PC's 2nd map, he brings in a db a week, a super item a week (roughly) an elite or two every 12-24 hours, and the occaisonal +1.

The second hunter brings in more gems, so I agree with that statement.

Do you set SV to pick up all items or default? It's near impossible to get +1's with default since it's extremely rare to hit ref/uni/eli/super and +1 at the same time (though I just got one today, uni +1 backsword). Is it more dangerous to set SV to pick up all items since it might drop item while jumping?
It would be awesome if there was an option to disconnect upon getting ___, like auto disconnect upon getting a DB/super etc.

SV dc's + exits CO when it finds a db.

I usually farm certian spawns, and if I do I use walk + all item pickup mode. If I'm not farming a spawn I instead use run + default. And yes its dangerours to run with jump + all, any lagspikes at all on the server or from you will result in a midair item drop, which can botjail you.
