i did as sayed but on a copy of conquer.exe that i called conquerabc.exe and after made a shortcut to conquerabc.exe adding on properties blacknull so it dont check for updates...
btw, im looking for info on editing ini and dats...what can be done and what i should edit or look for.

Get a hex editer, something simple that will
translate hex code into letters and words.
Try googling hex workshop. Well... get it, install it.
Step 2:
Open Conquer.exe with your new hex editer
in your conquer online program files folder,
if you dont know where that is kill yourself
or stop trying to get hacks, either way works
for everyone here.
Step 3:
Hit ctrl + f and change it to search for a text string.
Type in "fps" and find it, you will see something
like this

If you dont see that, you have opened the wrong file,
how hard is it to find conquer.exe and search like
i told you anyway?
well... the main part we want to see is
"English.TQ_CONQUER".
Simply change English to any other 7 letter word,
Chinese will work if you want to use that.
Save and exit.
You have successfully modded your conquer
to allow more than 2 clients at a time,
and if you havnt, you do not know how to
follow simple instructions.
Now as many of us should do *coughneverscough*
