Love how you got butthurt because I told you to fix your childish attitude. And besides.. I obviously meant that they are good at their shit, but when they make posts, whether they are releases or whatever the shit, they don't leave childish comments or remarks on anything.

It's not my problem. You were asking for critics on your ideas/future server and we provide them. Nobody likes/plays on a server who has an owner which isn't fully grown up yet ;)

If you're making it for the purpose of entertaining your players, then no. This idea is awful.

Simple explanation: People don't play this game because it's actually amazing, or the game has a lot to offer. It's simple, people play because they like the community they play it WITH. Why don't they play another game? Because this game connects them, no need to over think stuff regarding game play.

If you make it for yourself, and want to try and progress the game in a standard MMO of these days. I'd say you're on the right track, however you won't do it to satisfy the playerbase. You do it to entertain yourself as in making a better game.

Ps. I know you can do either and still get enough online just because of the server name. Just explaining this kind of edit/change to silk road is very useless in this year.

No this one isnt for entertainment. I have enough features for actual proper ENTERTAINMENT.

This topic is about gameplay to make stuff LONG term and DIVERSE. But still keep things sorta fun.

And overthinking regarding gameplay... Well, we have to start somewhere.

I don't wanna do a server for 3-4-5-6 months and then done.

We need some more shit and the only server who can force people to do something is Elamidas because people will play it anyways.

Oh yeah, I'm entertainig myself in doing fun stuff. But in the long run the gameplay should be a lot better. The standard gameplay currently will not work.

Why is everyone crying about short term servers, but when shit gets around to happen. They're not sure. Hard stuff, but we'll succeed anyways.

Also it takes a few days for the right people to speak up. It's quite normal to have these bullfights with people at the beginning. First few pages are always BS then it comes later ^^

If you truly want it to be longterm, which is hard to achieve due to players needing a break once in a while, and 'hardcore' players don't take breaks they quit.

But an attempt could be making PROPER cap updates. And I don't mean the kind electus reborn for example had, where you could upgrade your current gear to the next degree with same stats & +.

And also don't make it so hard to get soX shit. So basically you do full som in 2 weeks, then you work on full sun for 2 weeks and the next cap comes out 2 weeks later = 1,5 month. Do like 6 cap updates and you already milked it out a lot, I don't think you'll get any further than 6 months-9 months anyway. But otherwise you can keep bringing out new gear to work for, people get bored shitless when they're almost full or already full of the soX gear.

Which also makes people lazy/bored is that the 'new' sox is usually only +2 (at most, usually only even +1) better than the old(er) gear they had. Which... doesn't even make u feel stronger. So make it worthwhile having, and people that complain about catching up it's a goddamn MMO if you start late you are always gonna be worse than people that play longer.

However you can balance ctf with 'auto gear balancer' etc, can be done in ba/ctf/survival event shits/fw if people would want that(not that this would make sense IMO)

I'll keep it simple and clean:

* Make all currencies valuable, don't let one become more important than the other.

* Rework CTF / BA: make them more equitable and fair to play to everybody, the main problem of these events is the stupid shitty matchmaking system.

* Grind - Level up: Am i the only one who really enjoy to take some time to reach the max level? One of the bests parts of Silkroad Online was the grinding, nowadays you get max level in 2-3 days. That's just lame asf.

* 1 month moon = 2 months server.

I would prefer a quest based, slow levelling server rather than a server which your only goals are reaching max level in 3 days and trading to get coin & moon items.

Making stones n elixirs so rare and undroppable from mobs would make a better competition.

Making the gold main currency instead of silk(fuck silk scrolls) and keeping the gold level not high to hold inflation

What about deleting the force tree and distribute it's skills to other classes?
