Look on the date.
A few years ago maybe this was a point to think about if it makes sense to upgrade to an 6500 or stay on 3570k.

I would go absolutely for a ryzen today. Currently I'm using i7 8700k, headed and cooled with liquit Metall on the upside and downside of the headspreader with a 240 watercooling system..

Next system is going to be the ryzen 4800 I guess with a rtx 3080ti (currently 1080ti)

Oh my bad lol , That CPU is good , well ur set-up is nice haha , wish i could afford a 1080 ti ow 3080 TI , give me ur 1080 when u get that one haha just kidding , hmm personally i would keep that i7 but i prefer intel over AMD and maybe upgrade in future to a i9 10900K , except if u use it for video editing or something that would make use of all those cores/threads...

back the time, 4 years ago, ssds were pretty expensive and NVMEs doesnt even exist or was worthable for such systems.

its pretty old this review. my current rig is like ryzen 7 5800x, RTX 3080 and 32 Gigs RAM with 2x 1 TB Samsung NVMEs :)

Not bad at all. For me personally, it is quite a normal option

outdated.

current rig - Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3080, 4x 8 GB 3666 Mhz RAM, alot of NVMe 4.0 SSDs and Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 Mainboard, 1000W 80+ Gold PSU.

Previous rig - i7 8700K, GTX 1080Ti, Same RAM, 600W PSU.

As you see, almost every two years I go for general big upgrade.

as you see, this review is 6 years old and no need to be updated since intel 6th gen is not even W11 ready and will be completly outdated in ~2 years
